    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray device which solves such a problem that, although it is preferable that droplets sprayed during intake spray cooling of a gas turbine compressor are pulverized, the followability to intake air and the localization of droplets is facilitated.SOLUTION: In a spray device for cooling intake air of a gas turbine by spraying fine droplets to the intake air, a spray nozzle is arranged so as to spray the fine droplets toward a center part from an outer marginal part on air current high speed area. Subdivided air currents are combined on a low-speed area in the downstream, are mixed and are made uniform and, thereafter, are sent to a compressor having rotational symmetry. Devices such as water feed pipe and spray nozzle are put on a low speed area so as not to obstruct air current.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of modifying a gas turbine, for obtaining a highly-reliable gas turbine by utilizing an existing gas turbine power generation facility as much as possible and reducing turbulence of an air flow sucked in an intake duct section.SOLUTION: A method of modifying a gas turbine is provided for modifying the gas turbine including an intake duct section and a gas turbine section. The method includes: modifying the gas turbine section to have a gas turbine in which there is little change in output after the modification and a suction flow rate is reduced after the modification; and installing a flow reducing part between a silencer duct and an L duct in the intake duct section, to have cross-sectional area in an air flow direction of the flow reducing part smaller than cross-sectional area in an air flow direction of the L duct.
