SOLUTION: The transmitter of this invention includes: a modulation section that modulates a carrier with a first data stream and a carrier with data streams other than the first data stream in a way of providing a power difference between the carriers; and an inverse Fourier transform section that transforms an output of the modulation section into a time base. The first data stream is audio information and the second data stream is information for configuring a video signal.

SOLUTION: In this digital ASK modulation circuit, an oscillator 1 outputs a digitized carrier wave, a decoder 20 switches and outputs first and second transmission permitting signals corresponding to the digital value of a transmitting data signal, a first buffer 11 amplifies the carrier wave and outputs it according to the first transmission permitting signal. Then, a first variable resistor 12 outputs the data signal after controlling it to a first amplitude, a second buffer 14 amplifies the carrier wave and outputs it according to the second transmission permitting signal. Then, a second variable resistor 15 outputs the data signal after controlling it to a second amplitude, and the signals are composited and outputted as a modulated wave by an OR circuit 17.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter that transmits data streams including at least 1st and 2nd data streams by modulating carriers whose frequencies are in an orthogonal relation. SOLUTION: An output of a 2nd error correction coding section corresponding to the 2nd data stream and the 1st data stream are modulated and the modulation output is subjected to inverse Fourier transform processing. An output signal from the inverse Fourier transform section consists of symbol signals and guard signals. The transmitter selects one period of ha symbol signal among a plurality of kinds of periods.

SOLUTION: The modulator provided with a pre-coding means 11 that sequentially codes each bit of transmission information given in series and generates a code stream corresponding to the time sequence to the bits where a mean value of peaks of the waveform is lower than a prescribed upper limit and a modulation means 12 that identifies each bit value of the generated code for a period less than a half of the period of a desired carrier signal, alternately outputs a maximum value and a minimum value specified depending on the mark, and outputs a mean value of the maximum value and the minimum value depending on the space so as to output a discrete modulated wave resulting from modulating the carrier signal depending on the transmission information.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SSB wireless communication system and a wireless unit that can immediately conduct automatic gain control of a reception circuit with high accuracy independently of conditions of a wireless communication path while utilizing features of a high power efficiency and transmission of a narrow frequency band in the SSB wireless communication system. SOLUTION: A transmitter side transmits a modulating signal and a pulse signal with a constant period having a prescribed amplitude larger than the maximum amplitude of the modulating signal as a modulation input by a single side band, and a receiver side automatically adjusts the reception gain on the basis of a peak value of a received signal, that is, the pulse signal. Furthermore, the transmitter side makes the pulse signal having the constant period synchronize with the carrier frequency, and the receiver side decides a frequency of a local oscillator given to a demodulation circuit on the basis of the period of the received pulse signal.
