      SOLUTION: The electromagnetic absorber system includes a drive device 144 having a drive circuit 190 controlling an electromagnetic motor 54 in accordance with absorber force to be generated by the shock absorber 26 and a control device 140 capable of outputting a control target value regarding target absorber force with respect to the drive device 144. As control of the shock absorber 26, the electromagnetic absorber system can selectively execute (A) first control to control the electromagnetic motor 54 by the drive device 144 in accordance with a control target value determined by a first control target value determination part 206 of the control device 140 and (B) second control to control the electromagnetic motor 54 by the drive device 144 in accordance with a control target value determined by a second control target value determination part 210 of the drive device 144.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly useful vehicle suspension system. SOLUTION: In the system in which a fluid spring and an electromagnetic actuator are arranged between a spring upper part and a spring lower part in parallel, at the time of changing of the height of a vehicle, while an inflow/outflow device for making fluid flowing in/out with respect to the fluid spring is operated at a fixed capacity to make the fluid flow in/out with respect to the fluid spring (alternate long and short dash line), a distance between the spring upper part and the spring lower part is made to be a target distance at speed higher than the change speed of a distance between the spring upper part and the spring lower part by the fluid spring by using an actuator force generated by the actuator (continuous line). Then, based on a gradual decrease rule preset to prevent a change from a target distance even by the inflow/outflow of the fluid with respect to the fluid spring, the actuator force is gradually decreased (alternate long and two short dashes line).       SOLUTION: An air spring 16 is interposed between the sprung and the unsprung of the vehicle, and generates an elastic force between the sprung and the unsprung by an air chamber filled up with an air. The electromagnetic suspension 18 is equipped with the motor 22 disposed in the air chamber 72, a rod 42 and an outer shell 50 extendingly/contractingly controlled by the motor 22, and generates the damping force between the sprung and the unsprung. A heat shielding plate 20 is provided around the motor 22. The heat shielding plate 20 is extended to the outside of the air chamber 72, and heat sinks 78, 80 are provided on the extended part.
