    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a bush cutter to be driven by using either of an engine and an electrically driven motor according to the using environment as a power source.
      SOLUTION: A cutter 13 is joined to the tip of a driven shaft installed so as to be freely rotatable in an operation arm 10 as a body of the bush cutter, and a driven side joint 16 is installed in the rear end of the operation arm 10. Either of an engine output-side joint 28 of the engine 17 or a motor output-side joint 48 of the electrically driven motor 18 is selectively and detachably attached to the driven side joint 16, and each of the joint 28 and 48 is fixed to the driven side joint 16 by a fixing lever 33 as a fixing member. The driven side joint part selectively joined with either of the driven side joint part of the engine output shaft or the driven side joint part of the motor output shaft is installed in the driven shaft joined to the cutter 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an angle posture of a rotary blade based on an axis of an operation pipe to be changed more lightly and easily without causing increase of the weight and enlargement of a tip part of the operation pipe. SOLUTION: The portable power bush cutter 1 has the operation pipe 10, a transmission shaft 40 passed through the operation pipe 10, and the rotary blade 31 supported by a rotary blade-supporting member 30 installed in the tip part of the operation pipe 10, and is constituted so that the rotary output of a power source may be transmitted through the transmission shaft 40 to the rotary blade 31 to rotate the rotary blade 31. The rotary blade-supporting member 30 is supported by the operation pipe 10 so as to be turnable around a horizontal shaft 14 orthogonal to the axis of the operation pipe 10 in the plan view with a prescribed resistance. The transmission shaft 40 has flexibility at least at the part from the tip part of the operation pipe 10 to the rotary blade-supporting member 30, and the part having the flexibility is passed through a bellows pipe 100 connected with the tip part of the operation pipe 10 at one terminal, and connected with the rotary blade-supporting member 30 at the other terminal.
