It is preferable that the saponification degree of a polyvinyl alcohol constituting the polyvinyl alcohol film to be subjected to cutting is preferably 80-99 mol%, the polyvinyl alcohol film to be subjected to cutting contains a plasticizer, the dissolution time (conversion value when the thickness is set to 30 μm) is 300 sec or less when the polyvinyl alcohol film to be subjected to cutting is immersed into water of 20°C, and the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) is 2 μm or less when the surface roughness of the cut surface of the cut polyvinyl alcohol film is measured in the thickness direction.
