摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial leather substrate that contributes to enhancement of fire retardancy, specifically flame proofness, and assembling properties of a sitting seat that requires a leather-like appearance.SOLUTION: The artificial leather substrate comprises: a nonwoven fabric substrate that contains a fiber having a thermal decomposition temperature of 300°C or higher and a LOI of 25 or more; and a skin layer that is stacked on a surface of the nonwoven fabric substrate and entangled and integrated with the nonwoven fabric substrate. The skin layer is an ultra fine fiber entangled body that is made of an ultra fine fiber having an average fineness of 0.5 dtex or less.

The ultra fine fiber entangled bodies are unevenly distributed on a surface layer of the artificial leather substrate.
