The generated tree 106 for conversion constitutes the group of the questions of an YES/NO form for deciding a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character symbol equivalent to the alphabet symbol from the kind of alphabet symbols positioned within n-number of characters before/after the alphabet symbol concerning the alphabet symbol at a position in alphabets.

    • PURPOSE: To perform an optimum control of a phoneme time length and to conduct a rhythmical and natural synthesis without adversely affecting the features of a phoneme by controlling the time length of the sum of a vowel and a consonant located right after the vowel so that the time length becomes a prescribed one. CONSTITUTION: A rhythm generating section 3 outputs equal interval rhythms in accordance with the average time length of one syllable which is decided beforehand. Then, voice piece sounding timing generation section 4 is operated for the respective phoneme numbers set by a phoneme selecting section 2. If a phoneme number represents a normal CV syllable, the section 4 reads the consonant time of the corresponding phoneme from a consonant time length storage section 7 in accordance with the phoneme number. The section 4 sets a phoneme sounding timing at the time which is defined by going back the equal interval rhythm received from the section 3 for equivalent of the consonant time length. Accordingly, the boundaries of the consonant and the vowel of each syllable are arranged with equal intervals and the synthesized sound is heard with a regular rhythm.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a burner head from being deformed and improve a combustion performance by a method wherein a burner cap is formed with many kinds of flame holes and the burner head is formed in such a manner that each of flame holes is connected and mounted in the same plane with a certain step being applied against a mounting surface of a mixture gas supplying port. CONSTITUTION:Major component parts of a cooking heater burner is comprised of a burner head 1 and a burner cap 4. The burner cap 4 has radiated main flame holes 9 at its outer circumference, each of igniting flame hole 5 and a thermocouple flame hole 7 is formed inside the main flame hole 9. Flame transfer holes 8 for the main flame hole 9 are formed at both sides of them. Meantime, the burner head 1 is press formed in such a manner that each of mounting planes of full flame holes 5, 7, 8 and 9 at the burner cap 4 is connected and mounted on the same plane with each of them being stepped against a mounting surface of a mixed gas supplying port. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to prevent deformation of the burner head 1, improve mounting and fitting of it with the burner cap 4 and to assure a superior combustion performance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain synthesized sound of high naturality with relatively simple constitution by converting the parameter loci of the formant frequency and band width formed by a parameter forming section to smooth loci by a low-pass filter section. CONSTITUTION:A sound source forming section 1 is the section where the vocal cords are modeled. This section forms, for example, pulse signals and signals of triangular waves, etc., at the time of synthesizing vowels. The section forms signals, such as, for example, white noises, in the case of synthesis of consonants. The sound source signal formed in the sound source forming section 1 in such a manner is inputted to a voice tube section. On the other hand, the parameter forming section 3 is given with the information on vocal sounds and accents as input and outputs the information on the respective formant frequencies, band width, amplitude, etc. The output of the parameter forming section 3 is inputted to the low-pass filter section 4. The section 4 dulls the parameter loci to convert to the smooth loci. These parameters are inputted to the voice tube section 2 by which the voices are synthesized.
