    • PURPOSE: To reduce both of bearing load and end tooth bearing as well as to aim at preventing the occurrence of wear and seizure or binding, by supporting a shaft part with a rolling bearing installed in position nearby a crank part and a sliding bearing installed in position away from the crank part in a frame.
      CONSTITUTION: A rolling bearing 36 is installed in a radial part comprising a crank part 9b and a turning scroll 3, while a thrust type rolling bearing 37 is set up in position between the turning scroll 3 and an upper part of the crank part 9b. Lubrication to these bearings takes place via an eccentric lubricating passage 19 and a choke 38 installed in the upper end of this passage 19. Therefore, an oil chamber 20 on top of the crank part 9b comes into a state of being intermediate pressure whereby a crankshaft 9 is to receive the thrust load produced by a difference between discharge pressure and this intermediate pressure at its upper part but this thrust load can be absorbed by the thrust type rolling bearing 37. In addition, the amount of oil discharged out of the rolling bearing 36 is regulated by the choke 38 so that a constant drain oil quantity can be secured all the time. With this constitution, bearing load and end tooth bearing both are reduced, thus an effective prevention against wear and tear to these bearings and end plates or the like comes to fruition.

    • PURPOSE:To have stabilized operation of a scroll type fluid machine by furnishing a straight communication hole between the lap side-face of each scroll and the mirror plate surface and by providing a large communication hole in an arbitrary position of the lap without restriction of circumstances of the mirror plate. CONSTITUTION:A straight communication hole 9 is provided being open to the lap 1b side-face of a revolving scroll and a mirror plate surface 1a so as to put a space formed by a stationary and a revolving scroll, i.e. a compression chamber, in communication to the outside. According to this arrangement, in which part of said communication hole 9 is furnished at the lap 1b, the communication hole 9 can be made straight to assure easier operation for processing. Further owing to provision of part of communication hole at the lap 1b, a communication hole 9 with sufficiently large size can be formed in an arbitrary position of the lap 1b of the scroll, so that a sufficient passage can be secured and the operation stabilized.

CONSTITUTION:Chamber 1 is maintained at exhaust pressure and intermediate pressure chamber is maintained at intermediate pressure. Lubricant 9 lubricates main bearing 13 etc. and discharged into intermediate pressure chamber 8 when the oil port in shaft 4 is lifted due to the differential pressure between the exhaust pressure and the intermediate pressure. The exhaust oil temperature is lower than the feed oil temperature due to evaporaton of coolant in the lubricant. A recess serving as an oil basin for exhaust oil is provided on outer side of main bearing 13 housing of frame 5 and upper side of main bearing 13 housing are cooled by said exhaust oil.

The rotation preventive mechanism is adapted to pivot the pivoting scroll 2 while preventing the same from rotatin, having an oldham ring 4 freely and slidably provided to a rear surface of the pivoting scroll 2, opposite surface of the ordum ring 4 bing engaged by a projection 3a provided on a frame 3 via a key 5a. In this case, a self-weight of the oldham ring 4 is received by an upper surface of the projection 3a and by an annular side face of the ring 4, while rotation of the pivoting scroll 2 is prevented by a sliding movement between the key 5a and a recessed side face of the ring 4. This arragement can restrict inclination of the ring 4.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a balance weight, the dimensions of a bearing and the size and weight of a compressor, by a method wherein the crank part of a crankshaft is hollowed so as to reduce the quantity of rotational unbalance of the crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:The crank part 9 positioned at the upper end of a crankshaft 4 is provided with an eccentric hollow part 9a, which is so located as to reduce the quantity of rotational unbalance of the crank part 9. In this way, the quantity of rotational unbalance of a scroll compressor is reduced, and the balance weights 23, 24 (not shown) for eliminating the rotational unbalance can be made to be small in size, enabling to reduce the fitting space, that is, the dimension between the crank part 9 and a main bearing (not shown). Accordingly, the compressor can be made to be small in size by the combined effect of the reduction of the size of the balance weight and the reduction of the dimention between the crank part 9 and the bearing.

Corrugated fins 12 are extended between adjacent two straight tube sections and their turning points 12' are welded thereto. Here, arrangement is such that fin plates 112a, 112b before forming corrugation thereto are not rectangular but are shaped in the form of an inclined parallelogram. Resultantly, corrugated fins 12 are welded to the straight tube sections 11a, 11b-11n at their bent point or joining points 12' on the opposit sides of the corrugated fins 12 at an angle theta to the length L of the straight tube sections, in the manner that air flow A descends toward the downstream side. Similarly, unit fin surfaces 12a are also arranged to have downward inclination.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent lowering of the volumetric efficiency of a scroll compressor due to leakage of gas, by fitting an annular seal member between sliding surfaces of a fixed and a turning scrolls having respectively a volute lap erected on its flat plate part, and improving the sealing performance at slidable parts by applying back pressure at the back surface of the annular seal member.
      CONSTITUTION: When a crank shaft 4 is set into rotation along with rotation of a rotor 3a, a turning scroll 6 is turned by an eccentric shaft 4a and a turning mechanism 14. This causes change in the volume of a space defined between the turning scroll 6 and a fixed scroll 7, so that gas introduced from an inlet pipe 19 is compressed and discharged to an outlet pipe 10. Here, since pressure n an intermediate pressure chamber 16 is kept equal to that in a compression chamber 18 by the function of a connecting port 17, the above two scrolls 6, 7 are brought into sliding contact with each other. In the above arrangement, an annular groove 21 is formed at the sliding parts of one scroll 7 and a seal member 22 is fitted therein. Further, the groove 21 is communicated via an oil port 23 to an oil sump 24 at the bottom of an enclosed casing 1. Therefore, it is enabled to positively seal the sliding parts of the two scrolls 6, 7.

CONSTITUTION:In the drawing is illustrated a case in which a piece of crank pin 20 is applied, three of the cylinders are radially arranged in the same plane which is crossed at a right angle with a crank shaft, two of the arranged planes are set in parallel in their axial direction. That is, the cylinders are arranged such that the cylinders 27a, 27b, 27c in other arranging planes are positioned at intermediate portion of the cylinders 26a, 26b, 26c in the same arranging plane. In this way, a number or cylinders are properly arranged to make a small-sized compressor. Even if a plurality of cylinders are radially arranged in the same plane, the crank pin 20 may sufficiently be applied in a length of one connecting rod, thus a rigidity of the crank pin 20 may also be increased.
