Further, there are provided an inhibitor valve 440 for changing over the coupling of C3 and B4, a third accumulator control valve 460, a shift timing valve 470, an accumulator 4 for making the engagement of a clutch C3 smooth, and hydraulic servo-mechanisms B-4, C-3, C-4 for clutches C3, C4. With this arrangement, even if the setting position of a bar 410 is positioned at any one of positions H2, H4, L4, the line pressure is discharged into the servo-mechanism C-4 for the clutch C4 when the engine is cut off, so that the four-drive condition may be established.
