摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a high-purity beta-sialon powder by converting only either of a siliceous powder and alumina hydrate powder into an alkoxide hydrolyzate, adding a carbonaceous powder thereto, heating, reducing and nitriding the resultant blend in an N2 or NH3 atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A blend of a siliceous powder consisting of quartzite, quartz, etc., alumina hydrate powder consisting of an aluminum alkoxide hydrolyzate, etc., and a carbonaceous powder is prepared. In this case, if either of the siliceous powder and the aluminum hydrate powder is the alkoxide hydrolyzate, a substance other than the alkoxide hydrolyzate is used as the other. The afore- mentioned blend is then converted into a slurry in an aqueous solution and mechanically mixed. The above-mentioned slurry is subsequently dehydrated with a filter press, etc., dried, reduced and nitrided at 1300-1550 deg.C in an N2 or NH3 atmosphere for 2-10hr to afford high purity beta-sialon without consolidation.

The furnace is then filled with an atmosphere of gaseous nitrogen under ordinary pressure or elevated pressure and sintering is carried out at 1,700-1,850 deg.C.

If the partial pressure exceeds 0.8, especially great effects on characteristics cannot be expected and it is not advantageous in aspects of safety and economics.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the disconnection of a conductor and to improve productivity by repeating two or more cycles of the printing and baking of superconducting material paste on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:After paste is screen printed on a board made of zirconia or mullite and dried, it is baked and cooled to complete a first cycle. Further, the pattern is repeatedly treated by the same procedure as the first cycle in second, third and later cycles. The pattern is formed by the first printing and baking. A board and a conductor are contracted by the later cooling. The conductor is microcracked at this time. Second paste is printed so as to become the same pattern on the conductor, baked and cooled at the same temperatures as those in the previous cycle. Thus, a second layer conductor is formed. In this case, the expansions and the contractions of the boards in baking and cooling cycles are negligibly small. Accordingly, the number of the cracks is reduced as compared with that of the first cycle, and cracking positions are largely different in the first and second cycles. Thus, the disconnection due to the microcrack can be eliminated by the two cycles of processing, and preferably three cycles of processing can completely eliminate the microcrack.
