    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle enabling the arbitrary setting of a seat width by solving a problem wherein restriction is applied to the sheet width, and to reduce a weight of a vehicle body by solving a problem wherein the weight of the vehicle body is increased.
SOLUTION: In this motorcycle 10 formed so that a helmet 49 can be stored in the lower part of a seat 23, a center frame 44 at the lower part of the seat 23 is formed in a frame having an opening of an annular shape in side view, an engine 16 is disposed on the underside of the center frame 44 so that the helmet 49 can be stored from the side of the openings 47 and 47, and the openings 47 and 47 are reopenably covered by right and left side covers 76 and 75.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft supporting structure maintaining the rigidity of a body frame, preventing horizontal shaking of an engine or the like, having a small number of part items, and having good mountability. SOLUTION: This shaft supporting structure has a pair of right and left shaft supporting parts 20-1, 20-2 formed on a body frame, and a support hole 11 is formed in the first shaft supporting part 20-1. A cylindrical adjusting bolt 34 is threadably engaged with the second shaft supporting part 20-2 via an internally threaded hole 14. The mounting boss part of an engine is sandwiched between the end face of the adjusting bolt 34 and the first shaft supporting part 20-1. A support bolt 30 is passed tbrough a through hole 16 and a hole 24 in the adjusting bolt 34 from the support hole 11, and a tightening nut 35 threadably attached to the support bolt 30 is pressed into contact with the axial end face of the second shaft supporting part 20-2 while being axially spaced apart from the adjusting bolt 34.
