    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote input device and an electronic device using it for allowing a user to easily operate remote input while viewing a display.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system for in-vehicle electronic equipment which system has a display device disposed at a location allowing a user to easily see the display device and an operation unit disposed at a location allowing the user to operate the operation unit easily, and which gives the user a mechanical operation feeling.
      SOLUTION: In the input system, the display device is arranged on a vehicular instrument panel that is situated at a location allowing the user to easily see the display device. The display device is provided with a plurality of selection positions arranged in preset directions, and selecting any one of the selection positions displays a pointer. The mobile operation unit is disposed at the right side or the left side of a seat, which is a location allowing the user to easily operate the operation unit. The pointer is displayed in interlocking response to operation on the operation unit. The mobile operation unit is manually operated by the user, thus giving the user an operation feeling.
