    • PURPOSE:To prevent the propagation of mold microorganisms by providing a baffle plate between the upstream-side flow port of an anaerobic small chamber and the downstream-side outflow port thereof. CONSTITUTION:Raw water fed into a first aeration tank 1 through a raw water feed pipe 40 is mixed with activated sludge by aeration and the greater part of BOD in raw water is removed and also DO is maintained. Sludge-contg. water little in a substrate existing in the downstream side of the tank 1 is allowed to flow to the upstream side of an anearobic small chamber 2 through an upstream-side flow port 3 and falls down along a baffle plate 11 at low velocity and thereafter is passed through the lower end of the baffle plate 11 and raised at low velocity toward a downstream-side outflow port 5. Therefor generation of a short circuit flow between the flow port 3 and the outflow port 5 is prevented and the activated sludge in the small chamber 2 is efficiently settled and concentrated in the small chamber 2 having small volume. Further since only circulation of a small amount of sludge is performed by air lift due to an air lift pipeline 9 in the small chamber 2, mold microorganisms are suppressed from being adsorbed on the substrate and mold microorganisms are not propagated and are autolyzed.

    • PURPOSE:To permit both aerobic and anaerobic reaction in a single pressurized reaction tank, by providing the pressurized reaction tank with aerobic and anaerobic parts defined by a separating plate with a passage communicating with each other. CONSTITUTION:The air is supplied from an enzyme-containing gas inlet pipe 6 of a pressurized biological reaction tank to a draft tube 13 of an aerobic part 4, the liquid to be treated consisting of a microorganism-containing liquid is supplied from an inflowing pipe 9 to this tube 13 for agitation and aeration by an agitator 16 in the draft tube 13 and such liquid is thereafter overflowed from the top of the tube 13 to the exterior aerobic part 4 so as to undergo an aerobic reaction. A reaction liquid s then supplied from this aerobic part 4 to an anaerobic part 5 through a passage 2 in communication with each other and brought into contact with the liquid to be treated supplied from an inflowing pipe 10 into this anaerobic part 5 for mixing therewith so as to undergo an anaerobic reaction. After the completion of this anaerobic reaction, the liquid is discharged from a treated liquid outlet opening 11 through an outflowing pipe 17.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance cooling efficiency by winding an endless belt tightly to part of the outer periphery of a cooling drum, feeding a molten material between the outer periphery of the cooling drum and the endless belt and spreading the same in the form of a film. CONSTITUTION:A cooling drum 1 cooled by flowing through cooling fluid is retained horizontally and revolved. An endless belt 5 is brought in contact with part of the outer periphery of said cooling drum 1 from the outside in a manner to wind around. Said endless belt 5 is in a tight condition by a tension device 7 all the time. A molten material A such as a powdery coating material, a toner, food etc., is fed to the cooling drum 1 and the molten material A is compressively pressed between the cooling drum 1 and the endless belt 5, cooled and turned into a flake. As a result, cooling efficiency is enhanced and a device can be installed in a narrow, limited space. Further, the thickness of the flake or the like can easily be adjusted.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate stagnation and sticking on a side surface and to obtain homogeneous agitation by rotating an upper blade and a lower blade of plural agitation blades provided to the lower part of a tank in the same direction, and by rotating the lower blade with slower speed than that of the upper blade. CONSTITUTION:A weighed amount of binder is charged into a supply tank 19 by opening a solenoid valve 21, and then a solenoid valve 23 is opened to pressurize the supply tank 19, and a solenoid valve 24 and a change-over valve 25 are opened to send the pressurized binder to a piping 17. And the binder is sprayed from a spray nozzle 16 over the material to be treated in the tank 1. Meanwhile, the lower blade 11 rotated at slow speed pushes the material to be treated upward and at the same time moves the material in the vicinity of the side wall of the tank 1 so as not to stagnate and stick to this part. On the other hand, the upper blade 12 is rotated with high speed, and gives shearing force to the material which is repeatedly cohered and destroyed, and then gradually arranged in size to be granulated.
