    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic sponge which allows no cosmetic to permeate into its deep inside even when a cosmetic with a low viscosity such as a liquid foundation and the like is used, has an appropriate cosmetic containablity (absorbing depth), and gives a large application area. SOLUTION: This cosmetic sponge is made of an elastic polyurethane which is an elastic open-cell with a three-dimensional membrane structure, has an ethanol permeation time of not less than 10 s and less than 200 s, has not less than 20 pores of not less than 50 μm and not more than 300 μm in maximum diameter in the cross section of 1.0 mm×1.0 mm.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a gel-shaped composition to maintain the appreciation value of a cut flower without carrying out cutting in water by imparting high water-feeding properties to the composition with little syneresis by improving a conventional gel-shaped composition the application of which is limited to the transportation of the cut flower because of low water-feeding properties, and to widen the applications to maintenance and appreciation of the cut flower in Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement), flower arrangement, display or the like.
      SOLUTION: The gel-shaped composition contains 0.00001-0.001 pt.wt. surfactant. As a result, the applications thereof are widened not only for transportation but also for the maintenance and appreciation of the cult flower in the Ikebana, the flower arrangement, the display or the like.

In the elastomer, 20-100 pores having ≥40 μm maximum diameter are contained in a cutting face having 500 μm×500 μm diameter and these pores are formed of a film and ≥70% of these pores contain ≥3 through holes each having ≤20 μm opening maximum diameter of ≥1/20 based on maximum diameter of these pores in each pore. The method for producing the elastomer and the draining roller, squeezing roller and the swab obtained by using the elastomer are also provided.
