Further, the lower nozzle is composed of a cylindrical nozzle main body 2 constituted of a high alumina and zirconium made refractory, alumina and carbon made non-baking refractory or the like, a cylindrical iron made metal case 4 which encloses the outer peripheral part of the nozzle main body 2 via mortar 3, and a cylindrical iron made reinforcing metal case 5 which forms reinforcing material enclosing the outer peripheral part of a tip end part in the metal case 4. That is, the nozzle main body 2 is provided with a tip end part structure which is reinforced with two-ply two-layer metal cases 4, 5. The tip end part of two-layer metal cases 4, 5 is constituted of a shape which is previously squeezed into a tapered shape, whereby the restraining force to the tip end part of the nozzle main body 2 is more effectively maintained.
