    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improved a gas sealing effect for preventing oxidation of molten steel and to extend the service life of a slide plate by arranging blowing holes at the peripheral edge parts mutually faced in the longitudinal direction of the plate base material and the opposite position to a molten steel pouring hole and the actual operating surface of the plate base material. SOLUTION: The slit state blowing holes 16a, 16b are arranged at the inner peripheral upper part 3u of the peripheral edge parts 15a, 15b mutually faced in the longitudinal direction of the plate base material 2, constituted with the inner peripheral upper part 3u of a frame body 3 and the outer peripheral upper part 11u of the plate base material 2, and this blowing holes 16a, 16b are communicated with a gas passage 12. Therefore, at the time of pouring the molten steel, the invasion of the air from the molten steel pouring hole 10 by passing through fine gap developed between the sliding surface of a fixed plate and the sliding surface 7 of the slide plate 1, is prevented with inert gas blown from the blowing holes 16a, 16b, and it is effectively prevented that the molten steel is oxidized and deteriorated by the invaded air. Further, the neiboring part 20 of the molten steel pouring hole 10 becoming high temp., is cooled with the inert gas.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength of a plate and to make the restraining force by a clamper uniform by forming the sectional shape of a hoop to be shrinkage fitted to a plate body to a U shape and injecting a packing material into the gap of the shrinkage fitted surfaces via a space formed with the outer peripheral surface of the plate, then solidifying this material. SOLUTION: The hoop 4 made of iron to be shrinkage fitted to the outer peripheral surface 3 of. the plate body 2 is formed to a shape adding a margin for the shrinkage fit to the outer peripheral surface 3 of the plate body 2. The sectional surface shape is formed to the U shape and the recessed part of the U shape after the shrinkage fit forms the space part 7 over the entire periphery of the inner peripheral surface of the hoop 4. The packing material 8 is injected and packed into the space part 7 from an injection hole 8 after the shrinkage fit to fill the spacing G communicating with the space part 7 generated between the plate body 2 and the hoop 4. The packing material is cured by heating and drying. The width of the hoop 4 is specified to 25 to 30 mm, the thickness to >=3 mm and the height of the space part 7 is specified to >=1.5 mm. and
