    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a plurality of slave flying bodies at approximately uniform speeds and contribute to reducing the cost and weight of a flying body that carries the plurality of slave flying bodies.
      SOLUTION: The slave flying body release device 1, which releases seven slave flying bodies RB installed in the flying body R and arranged at predetermined intervals in the form of a ring about the axis RL of the flying body R, includes a gas generator 2 positioned within the flying body R, and gas holes 3 for ejecting gas generated by the gas generator 2. The gas holes 3 are positioned inside the seven slave flying bodies RB, and rubber membranes 4 which are inflated by the gas ejected from the gas holes 3 to release the slave flying bodies RB at approximately the same time in the radial direction of the flying body R are provided between the slave flying bodies RB and the gas holes 3.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the extension of range of canisters and permit the dispersion of the canisters in accordance with the condition of the group of targets by a method wherein the control of the dispersion range of the canisters in accordance with the condition of the group of targets secured by a mounting device is permitted. CONSTITUTION:When a missile 1 approaches the estimated position of targets, the condition of the group of targets is obtained by a homing device 3 while the condition of the group of targets is replaced with the scale 11 of the same and is recognized. When the group of targets is crowded, for example, valves 7, 9 are opened while guiding the missile 1 through homing whereby gas is sent into all of inside upper air bags 6a and inside lower air bags 6b simultaneously and canisters 4 are released in one action to make the range of dispersion of the canisters 4 small. On the other hand, when the scale of the group of targets is large, the valves 7, 8 are opened. Then, gas is sent into outside upper air bags 5a and outside lower air bags 5b at a spot A to release the canisters 4.
