    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a bicycle achieving reduced pedaling resistance for reducing a burden because in the existing normal bicycle, a bottom bracket shaft and a chain ring as a propulsion unit are integrally formed and rotated together, and pedaling force becomes the burden for providing propulsion force by interlocking together the bottom bracket shaft and chain ring.
      SOLUTION: In the propulsion unit for the bicycle, by separating the chain ring from the bottom bracket shaft, the chain ring can independently rotate, and can have a structure to which the principle of rotational leverage is applied. The chain ring is interlocked by the projecting part of a right crank, and can apply the propulsion force as driving force to a rear wheel by rotational leverage force capable of reducing the burden when pedaling.
