    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To help a driver quickly understand a diversified "voice guidance".SOLUTION: A drive support device, for use in generating a reproduced sound near to an ear of a driver by using left-right parametric speakers 2, 3, provides the driver's right ear directly with "voice guidance", of "voice information useful for driving", from only a right speaker R1. A speech center is in the left brain and therefore "voice guidance" reaches the speech center in priority without being impeded by other sounds, helping quick understanding of "voice guidance". Further provision of rhythmic "voice guidance" facilitates hearing. Further, inclusion of "subliminal voice information" helps quick understanding of "voice guidance" by virtue of a subliminal effect. Additionally to above, combination of "different-content voice guidance" with "different alarm sound" helps understanding of "content of voice guidance" by hearing the beginning of "alarm sound" by the driver being accustomed (learning), enabling instant discrimination of diversified "voice guidance".

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of giving only a driver useful sound information that makes the driver easy to determine the right and left orientation.SOLUTION: When a winker is operated in the right, a right winker 1R starts blinking and the winker actuation sound is localized toward the right direction of a driver α. When the winker is operated in the left, a left winker 1L starts blinking and the winker actuation sound is localized toward the left direction of the driver α. Since the winker actuation sound is audible only to the driver because of parametric speaker technology, the driver's forgetting of actuating or cancelling the winker can be prevented while keeping the silence of other crews and passengers. At this time, the winker actuation sound is localized in the instruction direction of the winker, thus, preventing the operation error and enhancing the sense of security. That is, only a driver α is given useful sound information that makes the driver easy to determine the right and left orientation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional sound apparatus that enables accurate "sonic three-dimensional localization" even when "a position of a speaker" and an "ear" are distant from each other in a vehicle compartment space that tends to provide reflected sounds or muffled sounds.SOLUTION: Binaural recording stored in a reproducing-use sound source portion 4 is recorded by giving an ultrasonic modulated sound from a recording-use ultrasonic wave speaker 6 to a dummy head 1. A cross talk is suppressed, the binaural recording is thus obtained with clear sonic localization information while localization of pronunciation orientation can be improved. Further, the sounds generated by ultrasonic modulating the binaural recording stored in the reproducing-use sound source portion 4 are given towards right and left ears of a driver from reproducing-use ultrasonic wave speaker units 7, respectively, arranged at positions distant from a head α of the driver. "Sonic 3D information" relative to the localization of pronunciation orientation is accurately given to the ears of the driver. Even in a vehicle compartment tending to provide reflected sounds or muffled sounds, accurate "sonic localization" can be achieved without a headphone.
