    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle handsfree device capable of disallowing howling phenomenon to occur with reduced cost.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle handsfree is used by a crew member α (driver) to hold a telephone conversation with a telephone opposite party without touching the mobile phone, and includes: a microphone 1 for picking up the voice of the crew α; and a parametric speaker 2. The parametric speaker 2 includes: an ultrasonic speaker 3; an ultrasonic modulation circuit 4; and an amplifier circuit 5, for radiating "a supersonic wave in which voice signal of the telephone opposite party is undergone ultrasonic modulation" to the crew member α. Then, "voice (sound wave) of the telephone opposite party" is given to the crew α by self-modulation of the supersonic wave at the crew member α side. As a result, the microphone 1 does not pick up "the voice of the telephone opposite party, thereby preventing howling phenomenon from occurring. As such, howling phenomenon can be avoided without using an expensive echo cancellation circuit and the cost for the on-vehicle handsfree device free from howling phenomenon can be reduced.
