    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve isolation inside a device by performing predetermined control for the device in a high-frequency amplifier unit, and expanding the dynamic range of the gain.
      SOLUTION: When a high-frequency signal is inputted into an EER high-frequency amplifier 1, an envelope-detecting unit 2 extracts an amplitude signal and a limiter 3 extracts a phase signal. A gate voltage control unit 6 holds an initialized gate voltage, when the drain voltage is not larger than a previously set first reference voltage, and controls the gate voltage so as to make the gate voltage proportional to the drain voltage, if the drain voltage becomes not smaller than the first reference voltage. Also, the unit 6 holds the initialized gate voltage, when the drain voltage is not smaller than a second reference voltage higher than the first reference voltage, and controls the gate voltage so as to make the gate voltage proportional to the drain voltage, when the drain voltage is not larger than the second reference voltage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current feedback operational amplifier including a function that selects and amplifies one of a plurality of input signals.
      SOLUTION: In the current-feedback operational amplifier including a plurality of input parts and one output part, each of the input parts comprises first and second input terminals and an output terminal. A signal inputted from the first input terminal is buffered, amplified and outputted to the second input terminal, and a current for the same amount as that of a current which flows to the second input terminal, is outputted to the output terminal. The output part comprises an input terminal and an output terminal, a signal resulting from adding output signals from all the input parts in the manner of a current, is inputted to the input terminal; and the signal inputted to the input terminal is converted into a voltage signal, amplified and outputted to the output terminal. The current-feedback operational amplifier validates any one of the input parts and invalidates the other input part in response to a first external signal. In the invalid input part, the impedance of the first and second input terminals becomes high impedance, and the output current from the output terminal becomes zero.

The amplifying device OAA also comprises a zero input current control circuit QCCC which is connected between the output stage OS and the preceding stages A2 and A3 and which controls the zero input current of the differential output stage OS by simultaneously adjusting the respective input offset voltages (VoffA2 and VoffA3) of the preceding stages (A2 and A3). The zero input current control circuit QCCC is constituted to adjust the input offset voltages of the preceding stages by off-line through the use of a digital system.
