    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid-operated fuel injection valve wherein adhesion of abutting faces is prevented, while ensuring wear resistance thereof, and a lift of a valve element is hardly changed.
      SOLUTION: The abutting faces 3c and 2b of an armature 3 and a fixed core 2 are shot-peened into a matte rough source, which is then smoothed by facing, so that the abutting faces separate easily without adhesion resisting separation. Projection points of the matte rough surfaces are smoothed by the facing and protected against wearing rapidly with repeated abutting to resist a change in the lift of the valve element. Thus, the fuel injection valve stably offers a fuel injection quantity less liable to change with time to supply fuel.
