CONSTITUTION:In the case of registering a message at first, when a call comes from a telephone set 11 to a message telephone controller 13 via a communication network 12, the call is connected to the line by a line connection control section 14. The line connection control section 14 processes automatic connection and interrupt of an incoming call. On the other hand, as to the retrieval of a message, when a call comes from the telephone set 11 to the message telephone controller 13 via a communication network 12, the call is connected to the line by the line connection control section 14. The line connection control section 14 applies processing of automatic connection of the incoming call. Then a voice reply section 15 outputs a guidance voice with respect to the incoming call subject to automatic connection in the line connection control section 14.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized and inexpensive equipment by converting a picture signal such as document information sent as a facsimile signal from a sender side into a video signal at a receiver side and displaying the signal on a display device. CONSTITUTION:In order to convert one entire image of document image information in excess of picture element number by one frame into a video signal by one frame, a sampling processing section 9 of a video output form facsimile receiver 4 samples picture elements (nearly 2000-3000 in longitudinal direction) of document image information and applies the processing of reduction with a proper magnification (nearly 1/3-1/6) determined in advance, interleaving or split to plural frames of proper predetermined numbers (2-4) so as to decrease the information quantity to be information quantity stored in a space of a video memory 11 of scanning line numbers by one frame of the video signal (nearly 400-500 in longitudinal direction). Thus, the received facsimile signal is converted into the video signal, outputted and the display of document image information onto a television receiver 5 with a different display form is attained and the content of the document is observed and read by using the receiver 5 even when no recording mechanism of paper is provided.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the encoding of a moving picture in a real time attended with a change in the camera position and the efficient transmission by employing a parameter representing a visual point and a visual line and a difference signal for the information used for the transmission. CONSTITUTION:A picture input device 202 picks up a scene 201 at a present point of time continuously and a parameter 203 representing a view point and a visual line is inputted from a parameter input/detection section 204. A difference extraction section 206 obtains a difference between a picture generated by a picture generating section 205 and a picture inputted by the picture input section 202, it is multiplexed by a difference signal encoding section 207 and the encoded signal and the parameter are multiplexed by a multiplex circuit 208 and sent through a communication network 209. A receiver side uses a demultiplex circuit 210 to demultiplex the signal into a difference signal and a parameter and a picture generating section 212 generates the same picture signal as the signal generated by the picture generating section 205 at the sender side and a picture signal adder section 213 takes a sum with the decoded difference signal to obtain a final decoded picture.
