CONSTITUTION:When a slave device 2 receives a power application command code, a control circuit 17 detects the code via a reception circuit 7 and when the code is consecutive for a prescribed time, it is judged that the application command comes and the power supply application command is issued to a device 3 to be power-controlled via a control line 4. The control circuit 17 compares it with the state of a stat line 5, and when the power supply is applied, a power supply application confirming code is sent as it is, and when the power supply is disconnected is a bit serial data is sent to a transmission line 6 via a parallel/serial conversion circuit 21 to send the specific code of the slave device 3. The master device 1 identifies received information via the reception circuit 7 and displays the end of power application when the power supply application confirming code exists and displays the slave device specific code when the said code exists thereby representing the fault at the salve device, and the similar operation is applied even at the power interruption.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency, by sending back a frame number sent from the transmitting side after adding it also to an answer frame at the receiving side and therefore sending the next frame without waiting particularly for an answer. CONSTITUTION:A repeater 1 functioning as plural optical modulation/demodulation circuits is connected to a loop transmission line 4 of a loop transmission system. A station ST comprises the repeater 1, a loop transmitting/receiving part 2 and a frame processing part 3. An auxiliary memory 5 is provided at the part 2, and a main memory 6 is set at the part 3. A received frame is written to the memory 5 and then processed at the part 3 on the basis of the intra-loop transmitting procedure. Then the receiving side sends back the frame number sent from the transmitting side after adding it also to an answer frame. Thus the next frame is transmitted without waiting particularly for an answer. Thus, the using efficiency of a loop is improved.
