    • PURPOSE:To simplify switching to a spare side, by a control station which controls the transmission of specific pattern data to the spare transmission system and with each terminal detecting the pattern data. CONSTITUTION:A control station and terminal stations are connected in loop with two transmission lines A and B, one of the lines is used as an existing line and the other is used as a spare line. The control station transmits a specific pattern signal from a dot pattern generator 11 via a switch circuit 10 and a modulation circuit 5-1 or 5-2 to the spare line. The switch circuit 10 transmits a data signal from a demodulation circuit 6-1 or 6-2 at the existing transmission line to a data controlling circuit 12, and the data signal from the controlling circuit 12 is transmitted to the modulation circuit 5-1 or 5-2 of the existing line. When a terminal station is restored from a failure and starts operation, a dot pattern detecting circuit 7 detects the spare line and gives a command to the switch circuit 10. When the control station detects a failure of the transmission line at a failure detecting circuit 8, the generation of the dot pattern is stopped to change over the existing use and spare lines.

CONSTITUTION:The central device of system consisting of a main storage device 1, main storage control device 2, operation processor 5, and monitor processor 8, is provided with one input and output control processor 3 and a plurality of various input and output control sets 6. Next, an input and output device 7 at a remote location is connected to the control sets 6 via the bus while 1 to 1 correspondence. With this constitution, every machine cycle assigned to the control sets 6, the control storage module in the processor 3 is switched, a plurality of sets 6 are controlled with the time slice, and the machine cylce can be quickened while using the memory element of low speed.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the loop back control by utilizing effectively functions such as clock extraction of each relay station in a loop back control system by a control station provided to a double loop transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that loop lines 3, 4 are opened at the same time between terminal tations (m) and (n) being relay stations. A control station 1 transmits a clock to the line 3 by superimosing it on a carrier wave. Terminal stations 2-(m-1) receive it so as to be able to receive a indication frame from the control station by extracting a clock therefrom. No clock is received from the terminal station (n) and succeeding due to broken lines. The control station 1 gives a folding indication to the terminal (m). The terminal (m) ties the lines 3 and 4. This operation is attained also to the line 4 similarly, and the lines 4 and 3 are connected at the terminal (n). When the carrier wave transmitted to the line 3 is received from the line 4, the control station 1 recognizes that the loop back is finished.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a corresponding table of logical connection to search a packet exchange station number containing a remote DTE, by representing a DTE subscriber number with a packet exchange station number and a DTE connecting line number. CONSTITUTION:When a DTE 12 transmits a calling packet (CR packet), the CR packet is transmitted to a DTE reception control section 8 via a DTE reception line 11. The section 8 transmits the CR packet to a CR packet discriminating section and when the packet is discriminated as the CR packet, a network head is formed as follows. That is, the incoming packet exchange station number in the CR packet is set as it is for the reception side packet exchange station number, and the DTE connecting line number in the CR packet is set as it is for the reception side DTE connecting line number. Thus, the network header is formed without searching the corresponding table of logical connection.
