    • PURPOSE:To image and measure the density values of plural components of an intermediate product produced in an elementary reaction process of combustion instantaneously at the same time by synthesizing laser light beams which match the absorption spectrum wavelength of a body to measured together, putting the light beams into a sheet shape and irradiating the body to be measured with the light beams. CONSTITUTION:The laser light beams from dye lasers 12 and 13 are tuned and mixed through a mirror 14, a dichroic mirror 15, a cylindrical lens system 16 and a beam splitter 17 so as to match absorption spectra of plural materials to be measured at the same time, and then the beams are changed from circular section to sheet section, and the body to be measured is irradiated with the beams. Consequently, materials in the section absorb light energy to rise in energy potential from base states to excited states and then return to the original base states in short times to emit fluorescent light. The fluorescent light is observed on a lower-wavelength side than the absorption spectrum wavelength. Those two kinds of the fluorescent light are observed by a high-sensitivity camera device 24 arranged at right angles to the tomographic surface. The fluorescent light beams are separated by an optical filter 18, so simultaneous video formation becomes possible.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the evaluation of burning property by a method wherein the spectrum of a specified chemical kind is extracted from the spectrum of light emitted from flame and the picture visualizing means of the distribution of the strength of the spectrum is provided while a means fore detecting the igniting and extinguishing of the flame in a high speed is provided in the title device. CONSTITUTION:A quartz window 12 is provided at the rear stream part of a main chamber liner wall 11 in order to catch the pattern of second stage flame 13 while an observation probe 14 is attached to a casing 10 opposing to the quartz window 12. The observation probe 14 includes an image fiber 15, an optical filter 16 is arranged at the outlet end of the fiber, an image on the fluorescent screen of a microchannel plate (MCP) 18 is split by a beam splitter 19 while one of the split images is imaged on the take-up element of a CCD camera through a relay lens 20 and is displayed by a picture processor 22 by coloring it. The light of the other image is imaged by another lens 23 at the inlet end of an optical fiber 24 while the other end of the fiber 24 is amplified by a photomultiplier tube 25 and is monitored employing an oscilloscope 26 and the like. When the existence of the flame is judged, the output of the photomultiplier tube 25 is introduced into a comparator 27 to judge it by comparing it with a threshold value. According to this method, the spread of a reaction area and/or unstable behavior of burning reaction can be known.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a gas turbine combustor of high stability at all times and of low NOx discharge by shifting the control point setting of the swirler valve aperture according to the humidity of the detected inflow air. CONSTITUTION:Air 1 is pressed by a compressor 2, led into a combustion casing 3 and flowed from the primary and secondary stage combustor liners 4, 5 and the air hole of the secondary premixing swirler 6 into the primary and secondary stage combustion chambers 7, 8. F1 fuel 9 of the primary stage is injected out of a nozzle 10 into the combustion chamber and diffusedly combusted. F2 fuel 11 of the secondary stage is injected out of a nozzle 12, forms mixed air with the air while flowing inside the premixing swirler 6, flowed into the combustion chamber 8 and premixedly combusted. While the turbine load is small, only the F1 fuel is combusted, and when the load reaches the fixed value, the fuel is charged also at the secondary stage. The aperture of a swirler valve 15 is controlled by means of a valve control device 17 and a valve driving device 16 in response to the increase and decrease of the F2 fuel, and the fuel air ratio and the spray velocity of the mixed air at the exit of the swirler 6 are controlled to the appropriate values.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease a flow amount of sealing fluid, which flows from the center part of a rotary unit to the periphery through a clearance between the rotary unit and a stationary unit, by providing a deflection plate deflecting the sealing fluid to a side of the stationary unit in an inlet part of the sealing fluid into said clearance. CONSTITUTION:To prevent high temperature main flow gas 50 from intruding between the bottom part of a moving blade 20, wheel 10 and a nozzle diaphragm 30 and a partitioning casing 40, sealing air 60 is allowed to flow from the center part of a rotor to the periphery. Deflection plates 100 are provided to inlet parts of the sealing air, and a flow of the sealing air is deflected in the direction to a side of the nozzle diaphragm 30 and the casing 40, then the generation of a flow internally in the radial direction due to rotary motion of the wheel 10 is prevented when the sealing air flows to the periphery.
