    • PURPOSE:To provide a sludge melting and incinerating furnace which can incinerate organic matters in the sludge and efficiently melt and solidify ash at the same time by preventing the molten slug from solidifying in the furnace bottom and clogging of the outlet and facilitating the repair of the damaged part of the furnace wall. CONSTITUTION:A target 12 disposed in the center of the furnace is a round column made of fine-resistant material with its lower end 14 shaped in a cone, and is inserted from the top 15 concentrically with the melting and incinerating chamber 1. Dry sludge 21A, 21B is ejected into the melting and incinerating chamber 1 from burners 23A, 23B. Ashes in the sludge becomes molten and most of it sticks to and flows down the surface of the target 12 to drop into the slug solidification chamber 2 from the tip of the cone. Since the target 12 is maintained at a high temperature, the molten ash 18 does not become solid while flowing down. Further, since it is routed in the center of the outlet 13 in the furnace bottom, the outlet 13 cannot be clogged. As the replacement of the target is facilitated, the repair of the furnace can be performed in a short time with less cost.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the whole body of fine particle layer to be cooled in a cooling device of high temp. clinker by providing a device charging cooled coarse particles to a fine particle accumulating part on a grate when high temp. clinker is cooled by air while being transferred on a high temp. clinker transfer grate disposed between side walls. CONSTITUTION:The cooled coarse particle clinker 15 is charged from the coarse particle clinker charging device 14 to an overheated area A when the high temp. clinker cooling device is operated. The clinker 15 is sunk down from the upper part towards the surface of the grate 5 by its weight while brought into contact with the high temp. clinker 6b of fine particles to move the heat kept in the clinker 6b to the side of the clinker 15, so that the temp. of the area A is lowered which promotes the passing-through of cooling air to cool the area A. Consequently, the clinker 6b pushed to the sides of both side walls 10, 10 is cooled enough which allows to early extinguish the area A and to prevent the grate 5 from the breakage by heat and the trouble of breakage, and the abrasion is restrained because the grate 5 is kept in a low temperature.

    • PURPOSE: To enable to perform rapid response to a demand for a fluctuation in load, by a method wherein control of an unburnt content storage level is effected in prior to stop of operation of each cell of a recombustion furnace, and an amount of assist fuel supplied is regulated in response to the temperature of the fluidized bed of the recombustion furnace.
      CONSTITUTION: CBC6 regulates such that, in case an unburnt content is decreased, an unburnt content in a deairing chamber 12 is first exhausted to an unburnt content storage tank 15 to raise a level in the unburnt content storage tank 15 to continue operation of a cell B. In case such level regulation is not sufficient, operation of a cell B is brought to a stop. The supply of a proper amount of steam to a turbine 9 is such that a signal from a temperature detector 21 detecting temperature in a layer is normally inputted, the temperature of a layer responding to the load share of the CBC calculated from the operating state of an MBC1 is calculated, and based on a deviation between the set temperature and a detecting temperature, a given amount of assist fuel 22 is fed to the CBC6. This enables continuous operation of the CBC, enables to perform smooth control, and permits to rapidly and sufficiently respond to a demand for the load of a device using steam.

    • PURPOSE:To permit to obtain good combustion of an unburnt portion exhausted from combustion device by a method wherein a dust supplying route, connecting a dust storage tank with the unburnt portion combusting device, is provided with a blender by which a combustion improver is supplied and mixed. CONSTITUTION:The blender 12 mixing combustion improver F into dust, is arranged on the pipeline of dust exhaust piping route 10. The dust collected from waste gas of a main combustion device is stored temporarily into a storage tank 6 through pipeline 5. A control box 8 detects storage condition by a level meter 7, calculates a discharging quantity based on the result, controls a discharging device 15 such as a rotary feeder or the like. The mixing quantity of the combustion improver F is calculated at a rate inputted already based on the adjusting of the discharging quantity, and the quantity of combustion improver is controlled by the control of a valve 16. In this case, when the contents of the unburnt portion in the dust is inputted into an analysis meter as a correcting value, the supply of the combustion improver is controlled in a high accuracy. The dust and combustion improver F are mixed and supplied to the combustion chamber before arriving at a CBC11, therefore, the unburnt portion and combustion improver may perform excellent combustion in the CBC.

    • PURPOSE:To operate a soot blower according to the adhering condition as dust, by a method wherein in the heat transfer efficiency of the heat transfer surface of an air preheater is detected through detection of temperature of the air for combustion at the outlet of an air preheater and temperature of exhaust gas at the inlet of the air preheater. CONSTITUTION:Temperature detectors 12, 13, 14, and 15 detect temperature of the inlet side of an air preheater, temperature of the outlet side thereof, temperature of the air for combustion on the inlet side of the air preheater, and temprature of the air on the outlet side thereof, and the detectws results are normally inputted as a digital signal to a control box 16. The control box 16, based on the detected results, determines the operating timing and the operating time of a soot blower 17 to control it. Even during cleaning operation by means of the soot blower 17, the control box 16 detects a change in exhaust gas temperature and temperature of the air for combustion through working of each temperature detector, and particulary if it is detected that the heat transfer coefficient of a heat transfer surface is restored resulting from the rise in temperature of the combustion air on the outlet side of the air preheater, a stop signal is issued to the soot blower 17.
