CONSTITUTION:Refuse fed through a feed port 11 is burnt within a fluidized bed 3 or an air tower part 2. Incombustible foreign matter is lowered within the fluidized bed 3 and flows down through gaps between air dispersion pipes 4 and is discharged through rotary seals 6. When large incombustible foreign matters 13 are mixed, a burnt substance is separated from the large incombustible matters 13 at the portion, where the fluidized bed 3 is moved, of a screen pipe 7, and only the large incombustible foreign matters 13 are separated by the screen pipe 7 for removal. Since the large incombustible foreign matters 13, separated by the screen pipe 7, are positioned in the fluidized bed 3, the matters are easily slipped and moved over the upper surface of the screen pipe 7 to the interior of a discharge chute 9 and is discharged through a discharger damper 10 to the outside of a furnace 1, which enables continuous operation.

    • PURPOSE:To recover efficiently an Na component from a black liquor generated at a paper plant by forming a fluidization medium of an abrasion-resistant and chemically stable substance, and releasing and removing Na components and metallic compds. formed on the surface of the medium, and hydrolyzing the removed substance. CONSTITUTION:A black liquor and Fe2O3 are mixed by a mixer 16, and the mixture is sent to a fluidized-bed furnace 1. A fluidized bed is formed in the fluidized-bed furnace 1 of a medium (silica sand, MgO, etc.) which is highly abrasion resistant and does not react with the black liquor. An NaFeO2 layer is formed on the circumference of the fluidization medium. The medium particles 6 are sent to a cooler 2 and cooled, and then supplied into a separator 3 wherein the NaFeO2 layer adhering to the surface of the medium particles 6 are mechanically released and removed. The removed NaFeO2 layer is sent to a hydrolysis stage 17 wherein the NaFeO2 is hydrolyzed into Fe2O3 and NaOH. The Fe2O3 is resupplied into the mixer 16, and the NaOH is reused in a pulp-making stage. The consumption of the metal oxide and heat can be remarkably reduced in this way.

    • PURPOSE:To promote desulfurizing and desalting actions in a process of incinerating sludge, by separately storing lime cakes which are dehydrated using slaked lime, and by mixing a specific amount of stored lime cakes to the other cakes. CONSTITUTION:A lime cake 1 containing slaked lime and a non-lime cake other than the cake 1 are thrown into hoppers 4 and 5, to which quantitative feeders 6 and 7 are arranged, after they are thrown into sludge pits 1a and 2a. A predetermined quantity of cakes 1 and 2 are extracted by a command from a controlling box 15, kneaded in a kneader 8, passing through pipelines 13 and 14, and then, fed into a fluidized bed furance 10 to be incinerated. A control box 15 controls the motors M1 and M2 of feeders 6 and 7, receiving the signals from flow detectors 16 and 17, which are provided to detectors 18 and 19 to detect the densities of SOx and HC1, respectively, and also to the pipelines 13 and 14. With such an arrangement, the sulfur content and the salt content can be changed into calcium sulfate and calcium chloride.

    • PURPOSE:To use only one series of attached facilities and reduce the cost of equipment and maintenance, by dividing a single fluidized furnace into a plural sections and installing different types of rectifiers in the sections and incinerating plural kinds of waste by the single furnace. CONSTITUTION:The interior of the fluidized furnace 1 is divided by a partition wall 8 of certain height, thereby dividing a fluidized bed 7. The different types of rectifiers such as a nozzle panel type rectifier 2 and a pipe grid type rectifier 3 are installed in the divided sections, respectively. Waste mixed with no extraneous substances is incinerated by the fluidized bed in the section equipped with the nozzle plate type rectifier 2. Waste mixed with extraneous substances is incinerated by the fluidized bed in the section equipped with the pipe grid type rectifier 3. The extraneous substances are discharged together with a medium by a conveyor 4 and separated from the medium by a separator. Since the separated medium is returned to the furnace, only one series of attached facilities is needed.
