    • PURPOSE:To properly perform the cleaning of heating surface by properly controlling the operating period of a soot blower by a method in which the dust adhering condition to the heating surface is detected by a sensor, and on the basis of the detection results of the sensor, the operating signal of the soot blower is sent in preference to the timer. CONSTITUTION:By sensors 16-20, e.g., thermometers to measure the temperatures of internal fluid of a heating tube, etc., the temperature of the internal fluid are measured and the measured results are converted into signals and put in a control box 21 all the time. In the control box 21, the input signals are compared with combustion gas temperature signals T which are inputted separately to calculte the heat conductivity of the heating surface in order to detect indirectly the adhering condition of dust. On the basis of the detected results, the cleaning time of the heating surface is calculated and an operating signal is sent out to a soot blower positioned on the heating surface to be cleaned. In case where the dust adhering condition calculated on the signals of the sensors does not reach an amount enough to be cleaned even when soot blower operation signals are generated by the timer 22, the operation signals are cleared by the control box 21 to prevent the unnecessary operation of the soot blower.

    • PURPOSE:To perform an excellent and economical removal of the duct of a heat exchanger, by spraying particles, collected from combustion gas exhausted from a combustion furnace, to the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A control box 21 opens a damper 24, mounted on a piping 11 for transporting air current, by means of each signal circuit and simultaneously discharges dust collected in a dust hopper 10 by a rotary feeder 25, and supplies particles (dust) to a cleaning device through the piping 11. The particles are injected from a nozzle 17 of a dust cleaning device body 13 through an inner tube and an outer tube, which are the end of the piping 11, to pass through a heat exchanger 36.
