    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a width retaining metal fitting which has rigidity sufficient not only for folding away an exposed portion but also for supporting or holding a metallic form, can also be lightweight and improves workability.SOLUTION: A width retaining metal fitting comprises: a base plate 11; outer protrusions 12, 12 formed while being folded in both end portions of the base plate 11; and inner protrusions 13, 13 formed on the base plate 11 inside of the outer protrusions 12 and holding a form 20 with the outer protrusions 12. In each outer protrusion 12, a curved portion 12a is formed which appears in a planar view of the outer protrusion, and in a central part of the base plate 11, an expanded portion 11a is formed which is expanded upwards.
