摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling performance of a radiator by a method wherein the rotation of a cooling fan and that of water pump vanes are controlled during idling and during high-speed operation. CONSTITUTION:Water pump vanes 22 are fixed to the rear end of a driving shaft 23 and a cooling fan 25 is fixed to the front end of the driving shaft 23, so that the vanes 22 and the fan 25 are rotated synchronously. The driving shaft 23 is driven by a velt 28 through the main body of coupling 26. A clutch plate 31 fixed to the driving shaft 23 is contained in an oil chamber 30 provided within the main body of coupling 26, and a slip oil is sealed in the oil chamber 30. During idling, the main body of coupling 26 and the clutch plate 31 rotate as an integral unit. During high- speed operation, the driving shaft 23 slips, so that the rotation is reduced by the amount corresponding to the slip when it is transmitted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To commonly use a fluid pump, a flow rate control valve, and piping, by a method wherein a fluid motor to drive a cooling fan and a water pump is connected in series to the fluid pump through a delivery flow rate control valve. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic motor 3 for a water pump is pivotally mounted to a hydraulic motor 4 for a water pump disposed in a cooling water circulating passage 30 running around a water jacket 32 and a radiator 42. The hydraulic motor 4 for a cooling fan is pivotally mounted to a radiator 42 and a cooling fan 41 to effect blast to a capacitor 43 for an air conditioner. The hydraulic motor 3 for a water pump and the hydraulic motor 4 for a cooling fan are connected in series to a hydraulic pump 1 through a flow rate control valve 2. The flow rate control valve 2 is controlled by a controller 5 to which a water temperature sensor and an air conditioner switch are inputted, and work ing fluid to the two motors 3 and 4 is controlled.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the accelerating performance of the engine stated in the title by disengaging a clutch for a water cooling device to stop driving action when a sharp acceleration action is to be taken and to place the cluth in engagement when the temperature of cooling water has exceeded a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:A water cooling device 21 is composed of a water cooling circulation pump 22 provided above a gear case 15 and a cooling fan 23 connected to the input side of the pump. An input shaft 25 is linked and connected through a belt 26 to a motor pulley 27 provided on a crank shaft. The motor pulley 27 and a clutch plate 39 are arranged to be connected together or disconnected from each other, by an electromagnetic clutch 37. This electro-magnetic clutch 37 is disengaged when an engine is accelerated sharply by a position detector switch 44 which functions only when an accelerator pedal 34 is suddenly stepped on. And when the cooling water temperature is detected by an engine temperature detector 59 that it has exceeded a fixed value, the electromagnetic clutch 37 comes in engagement and causes the cooling water pump 22 and the cooling fan 23 to be driven again.
