    • PURPOSE:To obtain an interior wall material rich in three-dimensional feeling by bonding a synthetic resin film composed of a melamine resin to the surface of a base plate composed of plywood or rubber and carving geometrical patterns in the outer surface of the film in a groove state having definite depth and filling the grooves with color paint. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin film 1 with a thickness (t) of about 1.2mm composed of a melamine resin or an acrylic resin is bonded to the surface of a base plate with a thickness T of about 4mm composed of plywood, rubber or calcium silicate. Next, self-adhesive release paper 1 is bonded to the surface of the film 1 and geometrical patterns are carved in the upper surface of the film using a ruter 4 and the depth of the carved grooves 5 is set to the half of the thickness of the film, that is, about 0.5-0.7mm. Next, color paint 7 is applied to the carved grooves 5 using a painting gun 6 and, after the completion of painting, the release paper 3 is peeled off. When the synthetic resin film 1 bonded to the upper surface of the base plate is composed of a melamine resin, the obtained product especially has gloss as compared with other resin and is excellent in abrasion resistance and light fastness.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the finish of plating, etc., to inlay designs of intricate shapes and to improve working efficiency by sticking the plating to pattern parts subjected to a surface treatment by using a laser head which can be operated by a computer, then coating the plating by baking. CONSTITUTION:The laser head 4 which is moved vertically, laterally or diagonally by using the computer and irradiates a work 1 with a laser beam 5 by decreasing or increasing the beam diameter is prepd. A resin material 2 is applied uniformly on the surface of the work 1 subjected to hairline finishing. The surface of the work 1 coated with the resin material is treated by using the laser head 4, by which the pattern parts 3a are provided for easier adhesion of the plating. The work is put into a plating cell for gold, silver, platinum, etc., and the plating 3b is stuck to the pattern parts 3a. After the resin material 2 is removed, the surface is coated with a clear film 7 and is baked.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain such an inley article that difference of material between the material to be decorated and a fitting piece and the outline of a pattern are made clear and the pattern is excellently shown even when the surface of the material to be decorated reflects. CONSTITUTION:The recessed parts 33, 34 are formed on the surface 32 of the wooden material 31 to be decorated by laser engraving. The fitting pieces 14, 15 thinner than the depth D of the recessed parts are fitted thereto. Since the surfaces of the fitting pieces 14, 15 become a state depressed from the surface 32 of the wooden material to be decorated, difference of material and appearance of the material 31 to be decorated and the fitting pieces 14, 15 clearly appear. The outline of the pattern of inlay is made extremely distinct because the circumferential walls 37 of the recessed parts 33, 34 are singed block by laser beams. Such defect is eliminated that the outline of the pattern is not shown as heretofore owing to reflected light. The outline of the pattern can be excellently observed even when it is observed from every angle.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a detailed inlaid design by forming the groove design having the shape corresponding to the groove design piercing both surfaces of a substrate on the surface of the substrate and filling the groove design with a decorative material before performing predetermined post-treatment. CONSTITUTION:A base film 5 is bonded to one side surface of a template M having a groove design 8a piercing both surfaces thereof and the other side surface of the template M is bonded to the surface of a substrate 11 through a release film 12. Sand blast in applied to the substrate 11 through the base film 5, the groove design 8a and the release film 12 to form the groove design 8b having the shape corresponding to the groove design 8a on the surface of the substrate 11. Subsequently, the template M is peeled off from the surface of the substrate 11 and the groove design 8b of the substrate 11 is filled with a decorative material 13 and the excessive decorative material 13 is scraped off from the surface of the substrate 11 and the release film 12 is peeled off from the surface of the substrate 11. By this method, a detailed inlaid pattern can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To easily produce a mosaic product within a short time by superposing a metal plate having an inlaying thin piece on a through-hole thin plate having a double-coated adhesive sheet bonded thereto and fitting the inlaying thin piece in a through-hole part to prepare a mosaic sheet and bonding this mosaic sheet to a surface to be decorated. CONSTITUTION:When a detection head 16 reads a pattern 17, the same through-hole part 24 as the pattern 17 drawn on the first manuscript 14 is bored in a perforating thin plate 19 by the laser beam emitted from a processing head 21. The perforating thin plate 19 is bonded to a double-coated adhesive sheet 17. Next, the first manuscript 14 is replaced with the second manuscript to which a plurality of the patterns of the first manuscript 14 are transferred and the perforating thin plate 19 is replaced with an inlaying laminated sheet wherein inlaying thin plates almost same in thickness and a metal plate 12 are temporarily bonded by an adhesive. When the part other than the patterns of the second manuscript is read by a detection head 16, laser beam is emitted from the processing head 21 to form the metal plate 12 having inlaying thin pieces 11. The metal plate 12 is superposed on the perforating thin plate 19 having the double-coated adhesive sheet 7 bonded thereto and the inlaying thin plates 11 are fitted in the corresponding through-hole parts 24 to complete a mosaic sheet.
