    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-hydraulic actuator capable of automatically changing the load state for actuating a hydraulic cylinder and a free state for freely expanding/contracting the hydraulic cylinder.
      SOLUTION: The electro-hydraulic actuator 1 includes a hydraulic pump 2 to be driven by an electric motor 9, and a hydraulic cylinder 3 to be expanded/contracted by the working fluid to be discharged from the hydraulic pump 2, and further includes a pump suction flow throttle 15 for imparting the resistance to the working fluid to be sucked by the hydraulic pump 2, a pump discharge passage 12 for feeding the working fluid to be discharged from the hydraulic pump 2 to the hydraulic cylinder 3, a tank side communication passage 18 to be communicated with a tank 10 side, and a selector valve 4 for opening/closing a space between the pump discharge passage 12 and the tank side communication passage 18.

    • PURPOSE:To perform smooth operation without generating any stopping shock by performing load correction in stopping phase when judgement is so made that the operational amount of an operation lever is smaller than the amount at the start of calculation and the switching valve has been in its open state. CONSTITUTION:The direction of an actuator load is judged at steps S-301 and S-303. As a result, if high pressure exists on rod side of a hydraulic cylinder, the first calculated value X1 is corrected toward minus (-1) direction at step S-302 and vice versa. The first calculated value X1 acts as a compensatory value for leakage of a variable capacity hydraulic pump. Further, a specific value X of an ejection flow rate corresponding to operational amount of an operation lever and the corrected calculated value X1 are calculated at step S-306. The ejection amount of the variable capacity pump is controlled in response to thus calculated value X. And when a difference between the calculated value X and an ejection amount Y of the variable capacity pump comes in a given range, a switching valve is closed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an internal leak at the time of stop of the actuator by providing a shut-off valve on the primary side of the main switch valve of the solenoid hydraulic pressure switch valve and by allowing a poppet type pilot check valve to open and close the shut-off valve, said check valve being controlled simultaneously with the main switch valve by an external pilot. CONSTITUTION:The shut-off valve 12 is connected in such a manner that the inlet 12-2 is connected to the pump 4, and the outlet 12-3 to the port P of the main switch valve 3-1. When the main switch valve 3-1 is in the neutral position (cylinder stopped), pilot spools 13-7, 8, 9 are diplaced to the right by the spring 13-3, and the poppet valve 13-4 is closed. The shut-off valve 12 is closed due to the primary pressure P's being flowing into the upper part of the valve body 12-4 by closing the poppet valve 13-4. The secondary pressure of the shutoff valve is dissipated by an internal leak of the main switch valve 3-1 so that the leak is prevented owing to the fact that the valve body 12-4 is biased to close by a force equivalent to the differential of upper and lower areas of the seat multiplied by the primary pressure P.

A low pressure side oil duct between a directional control valve 4 and an actuator 5 is made so that it is changeable through pilot pressure from a high pressure side oil duct between the directional control valve 4 and the actuator 5 by providing a directional control valve of hydraulic pressure 7 so as to connect it with a pilot port 6 on an energizing side for valve opening of the flow quantity control valve 1, and a valve 11 which is opened and closed in a selective state is inserted between a cylinder chamber 9 and a hydraulic oil feed duct 10 so as to change setting pressure of the relief valve 8 to either high or low pressure.
