    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the overhead loss at the time of task switching by starting fetching an instruction code newly from an address instructed with a program counter value, restarting the execution of the instruction when codes needed to execute the instruction are put in a queue, and switching (n) tasks the most. SOLUTION: When a CPU 3 receives a trigger signal 8, all the contents in a register file 1 are saved and stored in predetermined areas of RAMs 5 and 6 at the same time through buses A and B. Then, the data stored in the different areas of the RAMs 5 and 6 are reloaded to the register file 1 at the same time through the buses A and B similarly. Then the instruction codes begin to be fetched newly from the address instructed with the reloaded program counter value and when the instruction codes are put in the queue, the execution of the instruction is restarted to switch up to (n) tasks, thereby minimizing the overhead loss at the time of the task switching.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain the occurrence of hydrogen gas by using resin as the base material of a negative electrode current collector and covering the surface thereof with metal selected from at least one of copper, silver, tin, zinc and lead for preventing a foreign material from being deposited on the surface of the collector. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode formed out of zinc alloy powder as a negative electrode active material without any addition of mercury is set at the center of a battery and a positive electrode 1 is laid on the external surface of the negative electrode via a separator 3. Also, a negative electrode current collector 4 is laid in such state as inserted in the negative electrode. Resin is used as the base material of the current collector 4, and the surface thereof is covered with metal selected from at least one of copper, silver, tin, zinc and lead. In this way, the current collector 4 is processed, so as to prevent the deposition of a foreign material on the surface thereof. As a result, when the current collector 4 so processed is used for zinc alloy powder without any addition of mercury, the occurrence of hydrogen gas is restrained and a good quality alkaline battery of high resistance to liquid leakage is provided.
