SOLUTION: The image receiving sheet S for forming the toner image by removably sticking the toners T has a rugged surface with a multiplicity of continuous groove-like recessed parts R which are capable of accepting the toners T formed thereon and are capable of forming the toner image by removably sticking the toners T to the recessed parts R. The image receiving sheet is so formed that the toners sticking to the recessed parts R are protected by the projecting parts P of the rugged surface of the image receiving sheet. The depth (the height of the projecting parts P) of the continuous groove-like recessed parts R of the image receiving sheet S is 20 to 150 μm and the conditions E.A>=2 (GPa.μm) hold when the Young's modulus when the material forming the recessed parts R and the projecting parts P elongates 1% is defined as E (GPa) and the width of the projecting parts P as A (μm).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning device capable of restraining the wear and the damage of the surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier and the failure of an image caused by them and prolonging the life thereof by removing residual toner on the electrostatic latent image carrier by toner attracting action to a cleaning member by bias voltage. SOLUTION: This cleaning device 7 removes the residual toner D2 which is not primarily transferred and left on a photoreceptor 1. A cleaning roller 71 is arranged by leaving a fixed space between the photoreceptor 1 and the roller 71, and driven to be rotated in a direction a4. A bias impressing device 72 impresses the bias voltage from a power source PW6 between the photoreceptor 1 and the roller 71 in order to attract the residual toner D2 adhered on the photoreceptor 1 to the roller 71. A scraper 73 is arranged in contact with the roller 71 in such a posture that the removed toner D3 is easily guided downward in order to remove the toner D3 attracted on the roller 71 by the impressing of the bias voltage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for forming an image onto a non-fixing system image receiving sheet so that smear resistance is satisfactory, and to provide a sheet reproducing method and device by which toner is smoothly removed from the sheet and the sheet is reproduced so as to be reusable. SOLUTION: The method and apparatus are for forming an image on the non-fixing system image receiving sheet 1 which has, on its surface, groove-like recesses s1 and projections s2 formed along the recesses, allows the formation of a toner image by removably attaching toner T to the recesses, and protects the toner image with the projections. In the method and apparatus, after the toner image is formed by attaching the toner T to the recesses s1 of the sheet 1, heat is applied to the toner T forming the toner image, then the toner particles are slightly melted to such a degree that the toner can be removed from the sheet.
