    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to continuously measure the energy level of fuel which is a combination of temperature of a produced fuel and its calorific value, by making the perfect combustion of the fuel by mixing a part of it with air of a fixed condition and flow rate, and then, by measuring temperature of the combustion gas. CONSTITUTION:Fuel gas 19, which flows in a fuel pipe 6 located on the entry side of a gas turbine burner, is sampled by a sampling tube 20 and fed to a small-type burner 23 after passing through a fuel supply pipe 31, a pressure reducing valve 21 and an orifice 22. On the other hand, combustion air from a compressor 1 enters the small-type burner 23 after passing through an air supply pipe 27, a pressure reducing valve 28 and an orifice 29, and it is mixed with the fuel in an inner tube 26 of the burner and burned to produce combustion gas 32. As the fuel gas and air entering the burner 23 are maintained at an almost fixed condition, a temperature of the gas 32 measured by a temperature detector 24 is to indicate an energy level including sensible heat of the fuel gas. It is possible, by doing so, to measure only an energy level including sensible heat by extracting it from variables of the combustion gas entering the gas turbine burner.

    • PURPOSE: To improve a thermal efficiency of a plant which performs gasification by means of an oxygen produced by an oxygen producer disposed therein, by feeding a nitrogen into a gas turbine as a working medium which is generated in a process of the production of the oxygen.
      CONSTITUTION: An oxygen producing plant provides a means of cooling an air 11 to be liquefied by the effect of Joule Tomson and separately producing an oxygen 12 and nitrogen 13 because of a difference between their boiling points. The produced oxygen 12 is fed to a coal gasifying plant 2 to partially oxidize a coal 14, thereby generating a coal gas 15. After passing through a gas refining plant 13, the coal gas 15 is turned into a fuel gas 16, which is thereafter fed to a gas turbine combustor 5. On the other hand, the nitrogen 13 is mixed with an air 11 in a mixer 17, boosted by a compressor 4 and fed to the combustor 5. A burning gas 19 in the combustor 5 is delivered to a gas turbine 6 to work. When the nitrogen 13 and the air 11 are mixed, the temperature of the resultant mixture gas is reduced so that the compressor 4 is decelerated. A thermal efficiency may be increased as much as a decrement of the deceleration.
