Here, the inner plate 27 is raised so as to be pressed against the feeding roller 32, and the sheet-like member 30 is raised against a biasing member by rotation of the feeding roller 32 while a downstream side of a sheet P in a sheet feeding direction delivered from the feeding roller 32 abuts on the sheet-like member 30.

      SOLUTION: A plurality of heads are prepared for each color of Bk, Y, M and C. Misregistration takes place between colors due to temperature rise during use and a circuit selecting a head of lowest temperature for each color is provided. Since a plurality of heads are employed for each color, they are used for complementing a nonejecting one. Since misregistration takes place between the complementing side and the complemented side due to difference of thermal expansion even in this case, a nonejecting nozzle to be complemented is located accurately by detecting the head temperature.
