The supporting member is formed in one piece by a first member with the ink introducing ports formed therein, and a second member formed of a material different from that of the first member to surround the first member.       SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder comprises a gas-liquid separation membrane that allows air generated in an ink discrete liquid chamber to pass therethrough and is provided at the upper end of the ink discrete liquid chamber in the gravity direction, the ink discrete liquid chamber being adapted to supply ink to a recording element substrate. The inkjet recorder further comprises an air drain pipe for discharging the air passing through the gas-liquid separation membrane to the outside. With the above configuration, it is possible to achieve the inkjet recorder capable of performing efficient removal of a bubble and stably maintaining a good recording operation without unnecessarily increasing the running cost.
