摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus, capable of stably separating and feeding a sheet.SOLUTION: When a sheet is fed, a feeding roller 22 is rotated in a direction opposite to a sheet feeding direction to draw out the uppermost sheet P1 from a separation claw 24, and then the sheet P1 is fed in such a manner that the feeding roller is rotated in the sheet feeding direction to feed the drawn out sheet P1 along an upper surface of the separation claw 24. When the drawn sheet P1 is fed along the upper surface of the separation claw 24, both ends in the width direction of the second and subsequent sheets P2 are curved downward by a moving part 24A, and the separation claw 24 is moved to such a position that a pressing part 24a pressing both ends in the width direction of the sheet P2 is below the uppermost sheet P1, integrally with the curved sheet P2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the operation of removing sheets of paper clogged in a conveyance line.SOLUTION: A paper handling device includes: a safe enclosure having a paper storage box housed therein; a processing unit provided so as to be unloaded from and loaded into the device; a conveyance part provided in the processing unit to form a conveyance line; a delivery part provided on a top plate of the safe enclosure to deliver sheets of paper between the paper storage box and the conveyance line; and a positioning part which positions the delivery part and the conveyance line so as to connect them when the processing unit is loaded into the device. By this configuration, the delivery part and the conveyance line are connected so as to allow delivery of sheets of paper without jamming when the processing unit is loaded into the device, and places where jamming of sheets of paper being conveyed occurs can be limited within the conveyance line of the processing unit. As a result, sheets of paper clogged in the conveyance line can be removed by unloading only the processing unit from the device to simplify the operation of removing the sheets of paper clogged in the conveyance line.
