When the electromagnet 50 is jointed with the power source, and the ring magnetic mounting plate 40 is sucked by means of the magnetization of the electromagnet 50 so as to hold solidly and fix it, revolution of the middle bevel gear 30 for transmission of rotational movement is prevented, while the rotational movement of the middle bevel gear 30 is transmitted surely and accurately to the bevel gear to which rotational movement is to be transmitted, and the inverted shaft S can thus be rotated.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a planetary gear speed reduction mechanism and as well to make it possible to obtain a high reduction ratio, by constituting the planetary gear speed reduction mechanism with the use of bevel gears. CONSTITUTION:An arm 4 is secured to the inner end of a first rotary shaft S1, perpendicularly to the center line of the shaft, and a pair of planetary gears P is journalled to this arm 4 by means of bearings 5, 6 so that the gears P are rotatable about the center line. The pair of the planetary gears P has two of first and second bevel gears A, C which are directly connected by a shaft so that they are rotated together. Meanwhile a bevel gear D is secured to the inner end of a second rotary shaft S2, and is meshed with the second bevel gear C of the pair of the planetary gears P. Further, a bevel gear B is secured to a frame 1 on the same side as that of the rotary bevel gear D with respect to the orbital plane PL of the pair of the panetary gear P, and is meshed with the first bevel gear A of the pair of the planetary gears P.

A cylinder 9, with an unusual section expanding like a belt along the circumferential direction, is provided on the side of the housing case 8 and hydraulic pressure is applied on a piston 10 loosely fitted in the cylinder 9, and braking force on the internal gear 7 is exerted in the direction of a rotary shaft line.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door driving device for a vehicle capable of reducing the number of components and simplifying a structure.SOLUTION: The door driving device for a vehicle includes a planetary gear mechanism G1 comprising a sun gear 38d, a ring gear 39b surrounding the sun gear 38d, a planetary gear 41 engaged with the sun gear 38d and the ring gear 39b and a carrier revolving with the planetary gear 41. By turning the sun gear 38d to a drive shaft to be rotationally driven by a motor 22, turning the carrier to a driven shaft and turning the ring gear 39b to a fixed shaft, the driving device decelerates the rotation of the motor 22, transmits it to a drum 23 as an output member to rotate it, and opens/closes a vehicle door. In such a door driving device for a vehicle, by attaching a planetary shaft 42 to a bottom wall part 23a of the drum 23 and supporting the planetary gear 41 on the shaft 42, the bottom wall part 23a is made to function as the carrier.
