摘要： PURPOSE: To manufacture a flashless molded form with a thin film extended between a cavity and the form by covering the slurry inlet of the cavity of a mold with an extensible thin film, and extending the film by a force for energizing and pouring the slurry from above the film by a centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION: A split mold 3 is contained in the inner bottom of the structure 2 of a molding machine 1, and the peripheral edge of the charging port 5 of a cavity 4 is covered with an extensible thin film 6. The peripheral edge of the film 6 is locked to the mold 3 at the lower edge of a cylinder 7. A cavity 8 is formed of the film 6 and the cylinder 7. When the cavity 8 is fitted with a slurry 10 containing fine ceramic powder and applied to a centrifugal unit, the slurry is separated to a supernatant 12 and a ceramic molded form 11 by the centrifugal force. Thus, the form 11 is not contaminated with the molding material, and the penetration of the slurry to the split surface is prevented by the presence of the film 6 to prevent the generation of a flash.

摘要： PURPOSE:To rapidly produce a molding having a good particle packing rate from a slurry or suspension contg. powders of metals, ceramics, etc., by utilizing centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed volume of fluid, such as slurry 2 or suspension, prepd. by kneading the powders of metals, ceramics, etc., with liquid is put into a mold 1 and the mold is set to a centrifugal machine. The centrifugal machine is operated for a prescribed period of time by directing the bottom of the mold 1 toward the outside of a rotating radius to separate the liquid component of the slurry 2, etc., in the upper part of the mold 1, by which the solid green molding 6 is obtd. The green molding 6 is thereafter set in the mold having the liquid transparent bottom and the mold is operated by the centrifugal machine, by which the liquid in the green molding 6 is further discharged. The mold having the liquid transparent bottom may be used from the beginning as well.

The sedimentation direction of the material in the slurry is continuously changed due to the rotation, a uniform thickness may be obtained on the whole surface of the mold 1.
