    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively seal a bellows pipe and to prevent the bellows pipe from slipping of by compressing a packing and pressing a slip-off preventing member by a spring released from the compressed state only by inserting the bellows pipe in a joint body. SOLUTION: This bell-and-spigot pipe joint comprises, inside a joint body, a spring 30 sprung in an axial direction, a guide 20 for holding the spring 30 in the compressed state, and a packing 41 compressed by the elongation of the spring 30. The packing 41 is compressed by releasing the compression holding state of the spring 30 by a bellows pipe 40 inserted in the joint body, and further a pipe 40 is locked in the slip-off prevented state. The spring holding member 20 has an annular part 22 for receiving one end of the spring 30; a locking piece 21 extending to the inner part in the axial direction; a projecting part 23 locked to an inner surface recess 15 of the joint body; and an abutting part 24 abutting on the end part of the pipe 40. The spring holding member 20 is locked to the recessed groove 15 provided in the joint body, and the lock state is released being pressed by the end part of the bellows pipe 40. A soft packing or a lip packing is used as the packing 41.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint by which leakage can be surely prevented by packing and a stop ring surely bites into a pipe, the outer surface of which is coated with hard resin to secure pull-out inhibit force. SOLUTION: This joint includes a joint main body in which a packing chamber is formed on the inner surface of the open end, an annular packing accommodated in the packing chamber, an annular retainer abutting on the axial outside surface of the packing, a push ring which is screw-engaged with the joint main body to press the packing through the retainer, and forms a first taper surface which is open opposite to the packing chamber and gradually decreased in inside diameter as it goes toward the opposite side to the opening, and a stop ring in which a second taper surface which is a ring-like body obtained by partially cutting the circumference, and inclined in the same direction as the first taper surface of the push ring to be brought into sliding contact with the first taper surface is formed on the outer periphery and a projected part which bites into the outer peripheral part of a pipe to be connected by reduction in diameter is formed on the inner periphery, and the projecting part is formed in plural places of the stop ring in the circumferential direction.
