    • PURPOSE:To obtain a wear resistant sliding part by taking the part of the sintering material of the part to be cast in a molten metal as a low m.p. ferrous eutectic alloy, easily forming a liquid crystal and surely joining by diffusion without causing a defective joining even if the thickness of a wear resistant sintering alloy is thickened. CONSTITUTION:The forming body of a ferrous eutectic alloy powder of a low m.p. contg. 1-5% P, 5-20% Mo and 3.1-5.0% C in wt.% is made a rolled sheet 1 after kneading with the acryl sticking binder diluted by a toluene and made a forming body 1a by punching. After forming the wear resistant forming body of the ferrous eutectic alloy powder contg. 0.5-1.5% P, 3.5-7.0% Mo, 1-3% C and 5-10% Cr a forming body 2a is similarly manufactured. After the dewaxing treatment by heating both forming bodies at high temp. under H2 gas the forming body 2a is made a sintered body 2A by heating in a vacuum furnace are made a composite sintered member 3 with the vacuum heating by placing on the forming body 1a. The sintered body 1A is cast by internal chilling on the shell mold 4 for casting a tappet. The mechanical part having a wear resistant sliding part is thus obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To make a step difference as less as possible even in the case of partially arranging hardened layer and to prevent the development of crack in the hardened layer by heating after sticking the specific Fe-W alloy powder sheet on surface of a C contained ferrous material and forming the hardened layer of Fe-W-C ternary system eutectic. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of the ferrous material containing >=3wt.% C, powder alloy composing of 10-25% W and 2% inevitable components and the balanced iron, is mixed with resin binder and stuck as the alloy powder sheet having 0.2-1.5mm thickness. Next, this is heated at 1,090-1,200 deg.C to diffuse C in the above ferrous material into the above sheet side and the Fe-Mo- C ternary system eutectic is crystallized, to form the hardened layer having =40% surface area ratio of carbide and >=10% porosity. By this method, at the time of crystallizing the liquid phase by restraining the shrinkage percentage to low, the crack is not developed on the hardened layer and even in the case of partially forming the hardened layer, the step difference can be made as less as possible.

    • PURPOSE: To sinter easily and surely a powder alloy sheet to the surface of a metallic base body which is a plastically worked article by forming a flash toward the joint surface side to a contour part in the stage of forming the contour of the joint surface by sizing to said metallic base body.
      CONSTITUTION: A circular cylindrical blank material 1' is plastically worked to form the metallic base body 1 having the joint surface 1a and an edge part 1d at the peripheral edge thereof. Said body 1 is then set to a die 4 and is blanked to size the contour part 1e of the joint surface 1a. The flash 5 is formed in this stage from the edge part 1d toward the joint surface 1a side to the contour part 1e. The powder alloy sheet 2 formed to approximately the same size and shape as the joint surface 1a enclosed of the flash 5 of the body 1 is imposed on said joint surface and is sintered. The sheet 2 is thus exactly positioned onto the body 1 without slip off, etc. and the member of a chip material 3, etc. formed surely with the sintered layer 6 on the body 1 is obtd.
