    • PURPOSE:To bond a metallic base body and material to be sintered by sintering while preventing the positional deviation thereof after sintering by interposing a brazing filler metal consisting of Cu and low b.p. metal between said materials, heating the brazing filler metal to a liquid phase then heating up the materials under a reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:The foil of the brazing filler metal 3 consisting of Cu and Zn, etc., having the b.p. lower than the b.p. of Cu is adhered by a self-adhesive tape 4, etc., between the metallic base body 1 and a powder alloy sheet 2 which is the material to be sintered. The materials are then heated up in a vacuum furnace until the brazing filler metal 3 attains the liquid phase. The inside of the furnace is then evacuated and is heated up to the sintering temp. to evaporate Zn. As a result, the sheet 2 is subjected to a shape change such as shrinkage while the sheet is held adhered to the body 1 by solid phase joining 5. The generation of the positional deviation of the sheet 2 is, therefore, suppressed by the solid phase joining by Cu and a sintered layer 6 is formed in the prescribed position with the substantial joint strength.

    • PURPOSE:To form sintered layer without developing crack by setting wear resistant eutectic alloy powder sheet to a jig and executing pre-sintering and regular-sintering after molding by sandwich-pressing. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of the alloy powder sheets 5 composing of 94-99wt.% the wear resistant eutectic alloy powder and 1-6% modacrylic sticky binder are piled and set to the lower molding member 7 having projecting curved surface of a molding jig 6. Successively, the upper molding member 9 is fitted and positioned with bolt member 8 to pile on the alloy sheets 5. By descending the upper molding member 9, the alloy powder sheets 5 are sandwich-pressed with both molding members 7, 9 for >=10hr and the molding is executed so as to follow the surface shape of sintered layer forming position of metal base body. The molded alloy powder sheets 5 are pre-sintered and after removing gas generated by decomposition of resin component in the binder, the regular sintering is executed as laying on the sintered layer forming position of the metal base body to form the sintered layer.

    • PURPOSE:To sinter a powder alloy sheet after easily and exactly making a positioning operation of the powder alloy sheet to be adhered to the sintering and bonding surface of a metallic base body by positioning the above-mentioned powder alloy sheet with a powder metallic sheet as a reference, then positioning said sheet. CONSTITUTION:The powder alloy sheet 1 formed by kneading a wear resistance powder alloy and binder, the metallic base body 2 consisting of a ferrous metal, etc., and the powder metallic sheet 3 for positioning having the same size as the size of the sintering and bonding surface A are prepd. The sheet 3 is then adhered to the center of the sheet 1, i.e., except an allowance S for shrinkage in the sintering stage thereof, by using an adhesive agent (I, II), and thereafter the sheet 3 is fitted and adhered to the surface A of the base body 2. After the sheet 1 is thereby adhered to the base body 2, a sintered layer 4 is formed by sintering under prescribed conditions (V). The effect is remarkable particularly when the surface of the metallic base body is curved according to the method of this invention.
