    • PURPOSE:To rapidly change hot dip metallic coated sheet steel and uncoated cold sheet steel with a simple apparatus by conveying the sheet steel through a U-shaped passage, rising and falling it through said U-shaped passage and immersing the sheet steel into a hot dip metallic coating bath or drawing up it onto the coating bath. CONSTITUTION:A sheet steel 1 is passed through a turndown roll 2 and is pressed by a guide roll 3 in such a manner that it runs in the vertical lower direction; the sheet steel is passed through a U-shaped passage, is risen, is passed through a noncontacting stabilizing apparatus 4 for the passage of sheet steel, is conveyed toward the vertical upper direction, is passed through an exit pinch roll 5 as an ordinary cold rolled sheet steel and is sent to the following stage. At the time of subjecting said sheet steel to a coating treatment such as hot dip Zn coating, the rising and falling apparatus 7a and 7b of the guide roll 3 and the noncontacting stabilizing apparatus 4 for the passage of sheet steel are driven, the guide roll 3 and the noncontacting stabilizing apparatus 4 for the passage of sheet steel are moved in the lower direction and the U-shaped bottom part of the sheet steel is immersed into a coating bath 6, by which a coating layer by the coating bath 6 such as molten Zn is formed on the surface of the sheet steel 1.

    • PURPOSE:To easily switch the production of a cold-rolled steel sheet to that of a hot-dipped steel sheet by providing a plating bath furnished with plating molten metal injection slit nozzles opposed to both sides of a steel sheet and an auxiliary bath connected to the former bath and capable of being moved back and forth and up and down at the midway of the vertical passage for the cold-rolled steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:The cold rolled steel sheet 1 is moved vertically downward, the meanderings and warpage are corrected by a correction roll 10, and the steel sheet is passed between the molten metal plating baths 2a and 2b of molten Zn, etc., provided with the slit nozzles 3a and 3b. Molten Zn is injected onto the steel sheet 1 from the nozzles 3a and 3b, and the steel sheet is galvanized. In this case, the auxiliary baths 5a and 5b are connected to the plating baths 2a and 2b through communicating pipes 4a and 4b, the auxiliary baths are lifted up and down by lifts 6a and 6b, and the plating amt. is adjusted by the increase and decrease in the amt. of molten Zn in the plating baths 5a and 5b.     • PURPOSE:To alternately produce a cold-rolled steel sheet and a hot-dipped steel sheet with simple equipment by arranging a couple of rotary drums at the midway of the vertical passage for a cold-rolled steel sheet so that the interval between the drums can be adjusted, forming a molten metal reservoir between the drums, or eliminating the reservoir by increasing the interval between both drums. CONSTITUTION:The cold-rolled steel sheet 1 is vertically moved in the upward direction (a) or in the downward direction (b), and passed on its way between a couple of rolls 11 and 12 contg. a heater and surfaced with an SiO2-based ceramic. When a hot-dipped steel sheet is produced, the interval between both drums 11 and 12 is reduced by cylinders 18 and 19, and a molten plating metal such as Zn is supplied from a pipe 16 to the melt reservoir 13 between both drums, the steel sheet 1 is passed upward or downward between the drums, and the surface is galvanized. When the hot dipping is stopped, the molten metal in the reservoir 13 is discharged, both drums 11 and 12 are moved back by the cylinders 18 and 19 to increase the interval, and the steel sheet 1 is freely passed between the drums.

    • PURPOSE:To change the steel sheet to be subjected to gas in a short time by spouting the air from liquid spouting pores of a guide and subjecting the cold rolled steel sheet to the gas in the noncontacting state and, at the time of hot dip coating by falling the guide into a coating bath and spouting molten metal. CONSTITUTION:A noncontacting guide 3 provided with fluid spouting pores on the pass line of a steel sheet 1 to be subjected to gas is deposited in such a manner that rising and falling are permitted by a cylinder 12. At the time of manufacturing a cold rolled steel sheet, the air is spouted from said fluid spouting pores outside of a coating bath 6 in the lower direction and the steel sheet 1 is supported in the noncontacting state to execute the passing of the gas to said steel sheet. At the time of manufacturing the hot dip steel sheet, the noncontacting guide 3 falls into the coating bath 6 to spout the molten metal from the fluid spouting pores and to execute double coating in the noncontacting state with the steel sheet 1. Single coating is furthermore executable at the position where the noncontacting guide 3 is risen. In this way, the line stopping time attendant on the change of the cold rolled steel sheet for the hot dip steel sheet is reduced and the cracks into the steel sheet 1 are prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a production apparatus serving for both of the titled sheets which simplifies the change of passing sheet passage in plating bath and shortens the changing time of the passing sheet passage by arranging sink roll, which the steel sheet is dipped in the plating bath of molten metal, as being possible to dip in/draw out the plating bath. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing a cold-rolled steel sheet or one face plating steel sheet [the figure (a)], the steel sheet 1 is passed through deflective rolls 11, 12, 13 without touching the plating bath 10 or while blowing the molten metal supplied 15 to only the lower face of the steel sheet 1. Then, the metal selected from Zn, Sn or Al is used as the plating metal. Further, at the time of changing the production of the cold-rolled steel sheet or the one face plating steel sheet into both faces hot-dipped steel sheet [the figure (b)], the roll 16 is rotated as centering roll bearing part in the roll 12 to contact with the steel sheet 1. Then, after bringing the roll 16 into contact with the steel sheet 1, the steel sheet 1 is detached from the roll 13 and dipped into the bath 10. Further, as showing in the figure (c), it can be changed into both faces hot-dipped steel sheet production state.
