    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a scroll compressor by providing the end plate of a fixed scroll with a hole to make a high and a low pressure side communicate mutually and moreover a high pressure relief valve in the above hole. SOLUTION: A high pressure relief valve 60 is composed of a ball 62 to abut on a seating face 61 formed in a hole 66, a spring 63 to press energize the ball 62 toward the seating face 61 under fixed setting force, and a spring support 64 to support the one end of the spring 63. During the operation of a scroll compressor, a difference between pressure on a high pressure side 46 and that on a low pressure side 47 attains a fixed value, the ball 62 of the high pressure relief valve 60 separates from the seating face 61 against the bursting force of the spring 63, and the gas on the high pressure side 46 passes through the hole 66 and the high pressure relief valve 60 and flows to the low pressure side 47. The pressure on the high pressure side does not therefore rise above a prescribed pressure for preventing the damage of a scroll compressor.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of production so sharply as well as to make improvements in working properties at time of assembling and reliability for sealing by bounding more than two units of volume controlling gas passages in interposing a sealant solidly formed on a contact surface which makes a volume control block contact with a fixed scroll. CONSTITUTION:A pair of bypass ports 33a, 33b, being interconnected to two compressors 19a, 19a are installed in the end plate of fixed scroll 10, while a bypass passage 54 making these ports 33a, 33b connect to a suction chamber 28 and a volume control block 50 with a built-in valve mechanism 56 opening or closing this bypass passage 54 are made contact with an outer surface of the end of plate of the fixed scroll 10. Then, a sealant 85 solidly formed o this contact surface is installed therein, through which at least more than two units of volume controlling gas passages inclusive of a gas passage making these paired bypass passages 33a, 33b connect to the bypass passage 54 are constituted so as to be bounded.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate machining and burr removing work for a groove for fixation and thereby reduce the man-hours by inserting a sealed terminal into a mounting hole, and press fitting a bush nut into the mounting hole, wherein the bush nut is inclined a little toward the periphery and has a plurality of pawls whose outside diameter is some greater than the inside diameter of the mounting hole. CONSTITUTION: From the inside opening, a sealed terminal 51 is inserted into a mounting hole 53 penetrating a cover 4, and the front surface is contacted with the shoulder 59 of the mounting hole 53, and then a bush nut 57 is press fitted into the mounting hole 53 and its front surface is put in pressure contact with the rear surface of the terminal 51. The bush nut 57 is provided with a circular hole 57c in the center of the ring-shaped body 57b, and at the periphery of the body 57b, a plurality of pawls 57a inclined backward aslant are formed at a certain spacing in between. The outside diameter D of the pawl 57a is a little greater than the inside diameter (d) of the mounting hole 53. If the terminal 51 is inserted into the mounting hole 53 and the bush nut 57 is press fitted, the pawls 57a bite into the inside surface of the hole 53 to allow the terminal 51 to be secured in the hole 53, which eliminates necessity for use of any groove for fixation.
