    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of moment when the driving force is transmitted from a driven sprocket to an elastic member. SOLUTION: In this device, an accommodation space 10 is formed by making a through hole to the side of a sprocket 7 driven by a chain 8, in which an elastic member 11 is fitted. The outer side of the elastic member 11 is stopped to prevent drawing by placing a stop disk 12. An engaging part 21 projecting from the stop disk 12 is engaged with the slit made in the elastic member 11. An end of a bolt 13 is installed to a side 14 of a hub 5, and the other end of the bolt 13 is inserted in a through hole 22 provided in a boss 23 integrated with the engaging part 21, and a nut 16 is fastened to the bolt end projecting outwards from the boss. The elastic member 11 is located on a chain line C at the midpoint between a gear 30a and a ball bearing 19 supporting the hub 5, and prevents generation of moment when the driving force is transmitted from the driven sprocket 7 to the hub 5 via the elastic element 11.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength suction valve consisting of a novel high- strength material which richly contains a heat resisting component, more particularly V by forging a heat resisting steel product contg. respectively prescribed ratios of C, Si, Cr, Mo, and V, then subjecting the steel to a prescribed heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:The heat resisting steel product contg. 0.32-0.42% C, >=0.8% Si, >=4.5% Cr, >=1% Mn, and >=0.8% V is forged. The heat resisting steel product after forging is then subjected to the heat treatment and surface treatment to obtain the suction valve which richly contains the heat resisting component and has the much higher dynamic strength than the conventional products. The above-mentioned heat treatment and surface treatment are executed under, for example, the following conditions: The steel is subjected hardening for 20 minutes at 1,050 deg.C, oil quench tempering for 1hr at 650 deg.C, air cooling and annealing for 1hr at 650 deg.C, and air cooling and soft nitriding treatment for 20min at 570 deg.C, then to quick cooling.
