    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system for a vehicle with higher reliability.SOLUTION: A battery system for a vehicle is provided with discharge circuits (R1, 129A-129D, 128A-128D) for discharging battery cells (BC1-BC4) via measuring wires of the battery cells (BC1-BC4). The control circuit transmits a first discharge command for discharging the odd-numbered battery cells (BC1, BC3) of a cell group (GB1), a first transmission command for transmitting terminal voltages of only the odd-numbered battery cells (BC1, BC3) measured during executing the first discharge command to the control circuit, a second discharge command for discharging the even-numbered battery cells (BC2, BC4) of the cell group (GB1), and a second transmission command for transmitting terminal voltages of only the even-numbered battery cells (BC2, BC4) measured during executing the second discharge command to the control circuit to an integrated circuit (3A), so as to diagnose abnormality of a system including the battery cells, the measuring wires and the discharge circuit based on the terminal voltages each transmitted from the integrated circuit (3A).

The input terminals IN1 to IN8 include input terminals IN1 to IN6 to which voltage signals of thermistors 1101 are input, an input terminal IN7 connected with an operation power supply (Vcc), and an input terminal IN8 connected with a ground. The micro computer 1300 measures the voltage of the input terminals IN1 to IN8 when measuring the voltage of a plurality of thermistors 1101, and performs the abnormality determination based on the measured voltage value.

The cell controller further has: a first capacitor C1 connected between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of each of a plurality of single cells; and a second capacitor C2 connected between the voltage detecting terminals corresponding to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of each single cell, out of the voltage detecting terminals.
