Furthermore, the gate signal for convertor 1-2 is generated by adding this deviated signal to the current regulator 12 and converting to the voltage reference (eil) and through the carrier generator 13, 16 and the gate circuit 14, 17.

Thus, the phase stop by a notch command can be performed at every rectifier to reduce the harmonic waves presented in the current of the main motor of an electric railcar.
