    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an intake capacity by applying a throttle body and a fuel injection device to a compact vehicle such as a motorcycle/tricycle without being interfered by a storage part.
      SOLUTION: This motorcycle/tricycle comprises a swing-type power unit 16 comprising a single cylinder engine 110 having a cylinder 115 approximately horizontally extended forward, and a belt-type continuously variable transmission 161 supporting a driving wheel 17 at a rear part, and supported on a car body frame 11, and the storage part 21 is mounted between a seat and the power unit. An intake system 130 of the engine comprises an intake passage 122 integrated with a cylinder head 115, an inlet pipe 134, a throttle body 133, a connecting tube 132 and an air cleaner 131. The air cleaner is mounted on an upper part of the belt type continuously variable transmission, the intake system is mounted at a lower part of the storage part and an upper part of the engine, a bottom part of the storage part is high at its continuously variable transmission side and low at the other side, and the fuel injection device 140 is mounted on a front part of the intake passage in a state of being inclined to a vertical line.

      SOLUTION: The engine valve resting mechanism is arranged only in one of the front bank or the rear bank, and the actuator on the side having no engine valve resting mechanism is arranged under the actuator at the side having the engine valve resting mechanism.

Then a throttle-operation-amount sensor 27, which detects the amount of throttle operation by a driver of a vehicle, is supported by the intake-air passage forming body 18 and is connected to the other end of the valve stem 24.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of a V-type internal combustion engine enabling a reduction in the size of throttle bodies by reducing the throttle shaft-to-throttle shaft distance of the throttle valve without being restricted by layout when throttle opening sensors are disposed.
      SOLUTION: In this V-type internal combustion engine, a plurality of cylinders are arranged in a V-shape. The throttle bodies are arranged parallel with each other in intake passages extended from the cylinders to between V-banks. The upstream side throttle valves 71f and 71r and the downstream side throttle valves 51f and 51r are disposed on the upstream side and the downstream side of intake air in the throttle bodies. The upstream side throttle opening sensor 78 detecting the throttle openings of the upstream side throttle valves 71f and 71r is installed in the throttle body 70f on one of the V-banks, and the downstream side throttle opening sensor 58 detecting the throttle openings of the downstream side throttle valves 51f and 51r is installed in the throttle body 50r on the other of the V-banks.
